Questions about hydroponics?

so its been a while since i been on here, and i have never grown hydroponics before.

I tried searching my questions but no one had a specific answer.

I have a 30 pot 2 gallon pot system with a 55gallon reservoir.
I am using 2 1000w lights for this grow

the question is, if started from seed, do i just put the seed into the rock wool and shove it into my hydroton?
i am so confused on how to start it

if i use a clone, i assume i can just throw it into the hydroton and start growing right away. but this is expensive

i can grow good bud, but have failed a lot trying to clone so i gave up.

Pretty much, yes. Same for clones. Don't overthink it.

That entire thread is breath-taking!!! As a noob, I have bookmarked it and I just hope that all the stunning pictures are still there in all their glory when I refer back to it in the future. I will be reading that again and again over the coming months. Thanks so much for sharing!

I start seeds in rapid rooters. Once it's sprouted I veg it for a while until it has plenty of roots begging for nutrients and I drop it into hydro.
