I Thought My Neighbor Was Fat, Turns Out He's "Special"

I am not posting this to be mean to people with Down Syndrome or any other kinds of problems, I am just posting a funny story. My cousin has down syndrome, If I told stories about him they would not be to make fun of him either.

So, I have this neighbor above me, and he makes so much noise when he walks, I thought he must be like 500+ pounds, because no one has steps that are that heavy. It didn't bother me because he did it during the day, but a few weeks ago he was doing it a 2:30 am

So when he was stomping around at 2:30 am I was trying to sleep and I got pissed, so I went up to his apartment and knocked on the door. When he answered he wasn't fat, but he did look a little like a "special" person. And he was standing in his apartment, and he answered the door. I said "Why are you being so loud?" and he said "My cat threw up" and I didn't even see a cat, so I was just like "Ok, this guy is a crazy person".

But since then I have thought about it and I don't think he is crazy. He stomps every time he hears me make noise down here, and he looked "special" so I am pretty sure he is mentally handi-capped. So now I just listen to the stomping and laugh and wonder what he thinks he is accomplishing my making noise over my head while I have headphones on and it's day time.

Wow!! u should have kicked his ass..u missed your opportunity to finally win a fight!
LOL
I have won a fight. I don't ever pick fights, but I usually keep a bat or something in my house. The only reason I lost the fight in Pueblo was because my room mates were helping the other guy, and I didn't get to my back pocket fast enough to knock the guy out.

Usually I can tell when someone is getting ready to do something to me, it's at me own place, and I just get a bat or something out. I have never had to really use it, I did swing it at a guys leg once just to let him know I would break his leg if he made me do it again.

Then in another fight I just held the bat to keep the guys friends away while my friend beat the shit out of the guy that robbed me.

Just clarifying the details, it helps the story. The tenor of the anecdote would be different if say it was a lead pipe or a thick chunk of rebar

You gonna go round two special Olympics?

Didn't you already get beat up by a guy in a wheelchair, or did you punch a defenseless guy in a wheelchair? Somebody recap that story...

Maybe he is just looking for companionship? He probably was thinking, "yes, another person like me to bond with in my complex." In which case you're an asshole. And that's racist...

Fin, if you knocked on my door at 2:30 in the morning I would punch you so hard.
