Unfortunately, Ace of Spades is no longer in production, sir. I believe that all of the seed banks are sold out of it at this point. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

On a related note, I was recently shown some good karma, when a friend gifted me some Ace of Spades seeds. I plan on doing some breeding with them to help keep that strain from being lost to the ages.

I always worry about fem seeds "getting tired" or failing to thrive. I remember reading a comic by Bob High about failure to thrive and fem seeds. I'm sure you know who he is being from BC?

Is this true? I will admit I am a bit of a sucker for leaning towards the conspiracy theorist side. Or at least letting them entertain my mind.

I was more so talking about ruderalis genetics. But yes I believe fem can fall into that category I guess as well. Call me a fool if you wish.

I am sorry if I sounded sarcastic in calling you my friend but I have taken a peaceful approach to life and I feel no reason to not call someone a friend unless they have done something negative to me. Just my .02.... Not everything is pure potency. I've not gone the auto route often but I can say none I've tried is terrible smoke. Sometimes honestly I don't need or want to be high as a kite (RIP Kitehigh).

You won't be winning the cannabis cup with auto genes... But they have their place. I have faith that in time it will all level out.

that's pretty dank, but it'd still have to be a week quicker, maybe with co2 and 4 kessil's at each corner of the 1k hps running an extra hour after and before the 12/12 cycle to simulate dawn / dusk.. I've never read anything online regarding this but I know you can cut 7 days on average by using this method I learned from conversations at local hydro shops

I'd like to like autos, and I've tried a few. They all have had 'effect', but not the good high and stone that makes me a weed lover. Perhaps there are some great ones, but I'm not sure I'd bother w/ weed if auto buds were all there was to smoke. I sure hope that day never happens.

I've had 9 week strains finish in 8 but all my strains yield more the longer they flower.. I use to prefer short flowering strains. Kinda got off that tho

The black cherry pheno of ace of spades is a tasty mfer too and that's prolly the only tga strain I would run again also

I am going to try and put some c02 in there in the coming months just have to figure out how to maximize the c02 effectiveness. As of right now im venting all my hot air outside so I am thinking that right when lights turn off blast them with c02 and THEN turn on the exhaust fan when it starts to get a little hot like 82-84. I have never used c02 before but my buddy keeps telling me im losing a lot of weight by not using any.

Also I am using LEDS and sometimes it takes a little longer to finish than HPS.

I ran DQ for a couple years, kept a C99 pheno but I also had the cheese phenos… I'd say expect 9 weeks but you might find a cheese in there that can go 58-60 days.. I ran my DQ 63 days, good smoke but yield and structure are week, I now grow an original F1 Apollo 11 genius cut in it's place.
