Bro she's so lovely it unreal. Gonna take a sample to dry today. Not much longer before harvest time!!!yesssssssssss lol
Man Im going to have to get me one of those CMH lights as they're doing wonders and a lot of people are jumping on them.Beautiful James, looking good/healthy for being almost time to chop, definitely looks like a keeper, enjoy the harvest
Looks like we both lucked out on the first pheno/seed, the one I have going is just a beautiful specimen, probably 2 - 2 1/2 weeks away and the nicest plant I've grown in a while, largest indoor so far and looks like a keeper as well
That's exactly why I looking to get these when I move cus I was thinking of doing a 6000w HPS flower tent but after seeing what they do they'll be a much better investment and you just confirmed everything I was thinking. Thanks bro I think I still want a few HPS in the tent so I may do a half and halfGetting closer than I thought, won't be long now, Lucked out on that decision to switch from cheap LED's to this Elite Agro CMH, definitely worth a few extra bucks over hps imo. Looking like it'll produce what my son produces with 600w hps, pretty sure 2 of them would match a 1000w hps with a full footprint (3x6' would be perfect for 2 lights) and pull about ~760w @120v, ~680w @240v. He's rebuilding his room so he'll be running them @240v, even better. We were going to try a same strain/clone side by side with his 600 but he's switching to these CMH for his next run after seeing what these 315's can do, he'll be replacing 2200w of hps with 6x the 315's, we expect he'll draw less, less power to cool than the hps, and outperform in yield, not a bad thing in my books
Def no problem recommending them after a couple of runs, awesome flowering capabilities, fast, and much more efficient than everything out there, other than maybe the highest end LED's, but at about 1/2 the cost (less if you go bare bulb). A mix of both (hps/CMH) would be interesting and a mix of these and DIY COBs is where I'm heading next with lighting, the 2 combined should put out dense and huge budz...That's exactly why I looking to get these when I move cus I was thinking of doing a 6000w HPS flower tent but after seeing what they do they'll be a much better investment and you just confirmed everything I was thinking. I was referring to a very specific Philips Elite Agro 315w bulb which is imo the most efficient of the CMH bulbs from a draw and spectrum standpoint. I'm just about to harvest my first full footprint (3x3') with one of these and it's looking like ~12 zips, in soil, with low (500 ppm) feeds every other watering in flower. I could see hitting a pound with the right strain, method and pushing the nutes. That's pretty efficientWhen you guys refer to CMH light, are you talking about a Metal Halide? A special kind of Metal Halide?
Edit: Never mind...I Googled and found it.
This is the exact reason why I wanna use these. Be able to get weight with less power and lights is a great thing. Thanks for the infoScottyballs was running CMH and a hydrofarm. Feeding with Flora Nova Bloom nutes only and getting 1 pound plants!
