I've been to the Yukon a few times now, went on an expedition or two at a hunting area a few family friends owned up there in Lost Liver, and a family reunion at Mayo. Gotta say, great place. Gotta love the scenery, and the lack of people, the two main positives I like.I live in god's country....right beside Alaska just for reference... 24 hour sunlight in the summer...northern lights in the winter -40 to +35 some years...wildlife, little population even in the capital... they say there's more grizzlies than people in the Yukon...I believe that!
And whitehorse is a nice town. How I like em. There's enough to find what you need there, but not enough fucker's to become a metropolis. Proper sized like.
That's all a person needs.
