AK48 coco grow, 1st try at scrog

Hows things red?

I got my AK48 seeds now not going to grow for a couple of months because i am moving at the end of the year but i am really looking forward to it if i can get anywhere close to your lady's I'll be happy

Did you get a final number ?

anyway my friend i hope you enjoy your break from growing and find a good hobby to keep you busy till you start up again

Glad you got your seeds, they are easy to grow and give good yield if you top them, not massive colas but nice and dense :)

Final dry weight for the 2 plants was 425grams or just over 15oz so that will keep me going for a while :D

Any Clue what your thinking of growing next...?

hey red, just wondering if you grew any ak48 without topping?? ive had several strains that actually yield better if you dont top them, its like the single cola is huge were if i topped them i would get 2 or 4 top branches but total yield was lower than the untopped plant..critical hog from th seeds great if untopped... top it loses yield a lot and even though it finishes in8 weeks it need 3-4 weeks in veg as it really doesnt stretch but man is it crystal covered dense heaven...

Thanks mate, I don't have a clue what i'll grow next but I like fast finishes so that cuts it down to indica dom strains. I'll have a look whats about next spring and maybe grow 2 or 3 different strains and pick one that I like :)

I've never grown without topping as I'm height restricted in my little cupboard but if you have a strain that doesn't respond well to topping try mainlining it and see if the yield increases, it does work well .... ask Crit :)

started a thread last night but no responses, has anyone ever grown dr. undergrounds mellon gum?? sais its suppose to be purple to black buds and finish in 50 days..my mother is 6 weeks into flower no colors and ill be lucky if it finishes in 9 or 10 weeks wayyy more than 50 days.. its lavenderx bubblegum,, i was sooo looking forward to growing this,, such a let down!! has anyone tried any dr. underground seeds and if so are they what they claimed to be??? im starting to think seed companies straight out lie as to what their seeds should produce.. I ve been completely focked out of money with sensi seeds super skunk, seedsmans purple bud which is in no way purple, and now dr. underground mellon gum just once id like to plant a seed and have the plant look like it does in the pictures that go along with that strain...nirvanas blue mystic is great to smoke but doesnt look anything like its suppose to, very leafy buds, and no bluish tint at all, and dont get me started on blue berry,,5 diferent strains of it very expensive and not 1 blue colored bud..sorry im ranting just sick of being bullshitted by seed breeders!!! please respond,,,,anybody else feel this way??

the mellon gum ended up having purple leaves, not purple buds but the leaves tuned a very dark purple in the last 2 weeks..dont know if its genetic or my room tho because my critical mass by cbd, and skunk 1 by sensi also ended up with purple and fall colored leaves at harvest..since then ive run 2 or 3 more supose to be purple strains,,once again i get purple leaves but not a purple bud yet..
