how can anyone believe anything these fuckers say...

you cant go on tv tellin all the shit you do and not be in jail...i know the law, i cant say im pushing coke, and po-po not check into it. i cant say im killed a dude last night with out the law checkin into it. they have too. lil wayne fake fake fake fake, anyone can get teardrops... hes no fuckin al capone, no noreaga ,gotti, you saw how they where treated under the jail, or even send an army after them.... but they dont get any of that. nope t hey just prace around spreading a lie...
u.s.a will go after a man in another country on some hear-say, but wont put its own citizens in jail even when they go on tv and say" yeah i run coke, kill, sell drugs all the time, im doing it now"" law is hypocrite.

either they are real deal ganstas and our justice system sucks, or there liers and there job is to glorify that particular lifestyle s oyou can fuck up going out there to do that silly shit.

i look at rock vs this crap, rap has made such a dramatic change, just so it can appeal to who, the masses.

rappers are nothing more than new age women....
examples...

1.i need my money yeah so i can get my new clothes so i can look pretty....
the average rapper sounds like a girlfriend.

2.diamonds diamonds, diamonds... use to be a girls best friend...
but now there a rappers...another bitch move.

3.i see alot of these so called rappers wearing make up in there videos...got there nails done, dancing around with crunk shakin there asses...

im confused whos more womenly the women or the rappers....

once again...why no conscious hip-hop on tv, or the radio...

theres a ton of black and white conscious rap cats spittin the truth...
they need to be heard...

but this glam rap, well its not for us men...nelly, swisha house, ludicris,chingy...raps for ladies, they seem to be more and more attracted to guys how seem to mimic them in some way..

so does this mean in order for us to get good music out ,we need to get the women to stop shakin there ass to the beat and go, hey what the fuckk, wheres the message.

we gotta wake, or else where heading for self distruction krs-one style.

yeah the majority of rap sucks. there is a new hit rap song every other week which makes the other ones outdated right away... if music is good, it shouldnt matter on the current trends. which is why music like the beatles is fucking amazing and doesnt get "old"

think about who mtv and the general media are targeting towards now-a-days. Im not sure if you guys remember, but how about MTV Spring Break with the WEEZ Pauly SHore. YO! MTV raps, headbangers ball... all that shit was geared towards 16-24 yo males. If you watch TRL now, you see country music, "rappers", "rock" and all other types of bullshit and all of it is marketed towards 11-16 yo girls. No joke. MTV has degenerated to a market in which they feel has lots more earning potential. Basically cashing in on teen heart throbs: like a Teen Beat audio magazine.

even larger than that, you have got to realize that the bigger picture at hand too. MOst people arent too educated. Its easy to say that more than 70% of people in america dont have any education past the high school level. And whether or not you would like to admit it, more times than not education levels are tied to how well off a person is. Generally, the smarter/more skilled you are the more earning possibilities you have.

With all that being said, its not too hard to link the less educated/less paid people that are unfortunately, the majority in AMerica,to enjoy rap musics simple beats and repetitive topics. Dont get me wrong, ive been known to listen to the occasional 2pac album every so often, but sometimes, people need substance in their music

who said your boy 0bama was an elitist?

just sucks that you dont see good music on tv...

there turning little girls into young sex machines, shit rap aint the only music bad....

rock is just as bad, hell they both teach young girls what...how to shake ass to basically have a voracious sex drive.

The only reason why you don't see good music on tv is because the artists don't want to get sucked into that retarded MTV shit. I can't blame them... Most of the best rappers prefer to stay underground.

especially now more than ever artists can get away without tying themselves to MTV

the internet is a beautiful place that allows everyone to hear anything they want. Music has become more fan driven because ultimately it is the consumers that control what they want to listen to/purchase

the music industry is fucking shaking in its boots looking for a way to STILL make money off of other peoples ingenuity. Artists are learning to cut out the middle man

yes yes keep going...
why is it when they try to get there music out to the masses they change into something else...

theyll give em that 1st cd, then they slowly change them towards something else...

which is the next question, in what direction are they wanting music to go...

they dont care if its real, most of the singes dont sings... the lyrics are all shitty at best, they basically promote the "do what thou will" life style...

zepplin was evil and so what hendrix i get that...but you gotta admit it was pretty good...
now a days this music is so evil its retarted literarly...

satans like um the people are so stupid now a days they cant take the complex riff and intricate song telling skillz of the 60s and 70s there stupid heads would explode..

but um yeah underground is the way to go....

mf doom, kool keith, one be lo, binary star, black star, sabac, illogic, monster island czars,t oname a few.

get on the good shit.

lets not forget, everyones definition of "good" music varies. ONe thing to note is that there is no good or bad music, just music for stupid people and then music for people looking for more substance

Im sure those groups you listed are "good" in terms of how you define it, but ive never heard them so i cant agree or disagree. I could list off 5 bands/groups i think are "good" and you mightve never heard of them or agree, ya know?

and its funny someone mentioned hendrix and led zepplin but failed to mention the beatles. Im not sure if you knew this, but american music was all Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra Las Vegas showsinger type shit until the beatles came out and paved the way for modern rock bands. Jimmy was a junkie, a talented one, but still a junkie. I think compared to whats out now, hed probably be compared to a modern day JOhn Frusciante (with drug addictions and all). His timing was right

and from most of the accounts ive heard about led zepplin fgrom back in the day is that they were fuckin SLOPPPPY live! Like everyone in their own world playing their instruments at the same time, but no cohesion

dont get offended, just another perspective

im not offended, its all good man.

no it wasnt the beatles, im not a beatles fan by far i hate those crowley worshippers...

but i know music. my dad used get under the influence and then jam to 60s and 70s rock, i was raised around it...

chuck berry, and elvis presley, james brown. there the reason...

of course the beatles and the beach boys... but they are from europe...

chuck and elvis along with muddy waters and numerous blues guys where forming the basics of rock long before they arrived.

i listen to just about anything that i dont see to be pushing an alternative message. i dont like "evil" music. or music that secretly pushes a satanic agenda.

im an all around Gemini.

as far as good rock...
i got you man...

the best of the best...

stevie ray vaughn
steve vai.
yngwie malmsteen
eddie van halen.
page and hendrix.
randy rhodes.
joe satriani.
carlos santana.

My rule for hip hop - keep it strictly underground!
what he said :D

long time i didnt even bother with hiphop, because all i knew was trashy shit like 50 cent or lil wayne. but as i got older i discovered that there is actually good hip hop, from artist who still know how to rap.

try to keep it 90's and you wont go much wrong.

what is really sad is when underground rap groups change their style just to appeal to the masses
