Hey everyone. I have a young seedling. I am going to try a hempy bucket grow. She is a pineapple chunk. I was wanting to know when do you start feeding nutes and at what strength in a hempy bucket? I am using 100% perlite. I am using a 1 gallon bucket.

typically most would say 2 weeks, but I have started sooner by using 1/4 strength then working up to full blast

I wanted to know this too. I tried a hempy bucket style grow once before but I used only perlite and it didn't seem to root so well, and I pulled it.
But now I am giving it another go and have a different medium which seems to be working much better. I'm actually using a Bata bucket, or dutch bucket.
The people I asked decided it was better to be a cock head and rag on me for doing more than one style of grow and claimed if I stuck to one thing it would be easier to figure things out. So that didn't exactly answer he question, or help at all. I went ahead and fed the plant in the bato bucket and the other plant that was in inert medium being Sunshine Advanced ultra coir. I used House and Gardens brand Coco's A and B. I just went to their website and used their calculator and fed them according to their chart. This might not have been the best thing, I hear hempy buckets do fine with lower ppm feedings. Those two plants have been doing fine though, so I think I will continue to just follow the feeding chart after using their nutrient calculator. I started feeding like the first day that I put my new clones in the pots/bucket.

My bato bucket is filled with grow stone brand aeration rocks in the bottom half or so, then a layer of growstone CS-3 coco-mix, I had my bato bucket laying around from my first hempy style attempt, then these two grow stone products I got as a free sample so I figured why not. I had a bunch of Sunshine advanced Ultra Coir left over after topping off my smart pots for this grow so I just filled in what I needed to on top with that. The final layer was to top it off with gnat nix, which again I already had plenty of that left over after using it on my other plants for this grow. I was only out the expense of another clone, because I still had a set of House and Gardens brand Coco's A and B that I got as a free sample from my last order. This is why I was ticked off about the dick head that wouldn't just simple answer the question about when to feed a hempy or inert mix. He tried to make me look like a fool for doing more than one grow style. But why not when it ran me the cost of a clone, and a bit of my time to take care of one more plant, that I get the enjoyment of taking care of and learning about how to grow hempy style while I'm already running lights and stuff. I think it was smart actually to use all that freebie stuff for the one bucket instead of dedicating an entire grow to that style that I may or may not even like. Sorry, just had to vent a bit. But yeah that's what I have going on.

Here is a shot of the plants. 6 Blue Dream in the back and 2 White Buffalo up front.
The BD are all in 3 gal smart pots with TGA Super Soil in the bottom and Sunshine Advanced Ultra Coir filled in on top of that, then topped with gnat nix.
The white Buffalo on the right is in a 3 gal smart pot filled with just the Sunshine advanced Ultra Coir. And I explained how I setup the bato bucket already.
But as you can see they are doing well. The White Buffalo in the bato bucket might be stretching a bit though, but still looks good. I'm just not sure if I'm feeding it right or not. Obviously I haven't fried mine yet.

The tip of your dildo is sticking out of the perlite in the bottom right pot. Besides that, its looking good.

That in fact is not a dildo. It is a fertility statue.
Also that is not perlite either, that is Gnat nix.
I know that fertility statue is only like one inch. but I swear it helps add some hair on my nug's.
My ladies see it and go Ohhh! penis! Lets get those hairs going wild. It also seems to add to the whole zen garden thing I have going, which is ironic because it looks about an Asian sized fertility statue.

what kind off nuts is gnatmix please provide the np and k values also were I can buy it. Also what is a fertility statue and what does it do for the plants.
The gnat nix isn't nuts at all. It is made from recycled glass and calcium carbonate.
What it does is dry's out fast, and provides a layer where fungus gnats can not lay eggs.
If they did lay eggs they would die because the layer dries out so fast unlike grow medium.
Much better than using play sand as some would recommend.
