LOL, I meant of the bulb, but kelvin temp is the color of the light. certain temps burn at different colors. You want a more blue colored light for the veg. 6000k or above.

Is that a dark room or a grow room? You are going to need some more light bro.
also
the pictuers look really dark for some reason, they came out like that for some reason, all dark
but it is rally really bright in there, like i cant look in it for too long.
so basically saying, it is like 20 times brighter than it is in the pictures

Get as many of those CFL's as you can afford or invest in a HID remember you are trying to replace the sun here so if you want a decent yield you are going to need a LOT more light. If when you take you pictures it looks dark, thats a bad sign . . . .

haha my bad
oh, buzzkill, it says 2700k on the back
would that work at all?
Yeah it'll work, what the 23w's kelvin?
and what is that flouro tube??? It's to far away to be effective.
They loose lumens exponentially within inches. Put the tube as close as possible and the CFL is at a good height. Just put your hand above the plants. If you think it's comfy your good.

They will produce growth but slowly. In this stage you DO want a blue color temp. It is what jumpstarts the chlorophyl and gets that shit makin food for the plant! If you can get the highest actual watt 6500k CFL's you can and run those for 24 hrs for a few weeks. Water with distilled water every few days and you'll shit yourself!

Go to lowe's homie! 4 pack of 6500k for like $9 and so does wal-mart.
If you look at my journal you will see the CFL's i'm talking about. I went through a few different grow spaces, check it out maybe my mistakes will help you!

aim it a little higher if possible, just so they slightly wiggle. not much more than that though. But yeah that is great! I did that and my stalks are huge!!
