You probably still need to enable the receive warnings from mods option in your preferences. Near the bottom:

Obviously you can't disable warnings from the admin... but I hope this helps.

@Sativied My preference page like that doesn't have the option to receive warnings from mods… It's got all the other categories shown in your screen shot, but not that one..
