Here are my new mothers


#1, #3, & #5


They are 5" tall and 1 month old today. (31 days). It took two weeks for them to root. Out of 9 girl clone all took 100% success rate. I picked the best for each girl to be the mothers.

they are vegging under four T-12x24" with 960 luman each at 6500k. I will keep them under this to make the growth slow about 1/4" per day. the light is 2" above.

You can see them real good if I take them out in reg light. under the hps it's hard to see. And do to size they will stay in there untill harvest if all goes well. My 3.1 pixel camora can't get good close ups expecily in 2100k light.

Oh and thanks. I look thur my note if you get a male but let keep the fingers crossed for girls.

I have been growing for over 5yrs now, with to many harv.s' to count! And with some experimentation have learned and shown that apple juice at the pure 100% no sugar added, can and will make the cannabis plant do some crazy trich sht... Please take the time to peek in the apple thread it is deff. Worth it... Db.~tlb!

I'm not so worried about tast on the three big one. Their main purpose is to give me a bunch of seeds then have some goodish smoke. The clones on the side will be the killer shit so that yhe ones that I experament on.

I'm still researching the best time to harvest for seeds. I think it's a week or two after the best time for buds.

My Genie is 33 inches and still in veg so I'm hoping she may come out like those beauties.

On the subject of male leaves, how much did you dry them before making hash? Until they were crumbly or just a bit dry/crackly?

100% dry about 5 to 7 days in the dry box. Then a week in an air tight bag in the deep freeze.

You can then smoke or make hash. The smoking of the leaves is very good if you take the male in flower just as the pollen sacks start to open. They are still good if you harvest a day or two after you find a male.

If you dont make hash the leaves smoke a bit better if a little most. But they are easyer to store at 100% dry.

1) The grow room has AC and one of it intakes is by the vent. that intake has a 4" hose with a 12 volt pc fan that blows over the ballast. I also have a 350cfm blower and a little fan that blows just under the lights.

My reflector also has a glass so that help with temps below the light.

Day temp:
bottom 69f
just under the 430 watt light around 85f to 88f
above light 93f+

Night temp:
all 69f



Out side the cab. is 69f

I have only ran the set up a few months.

as for repots I did it by the seat of my pants. When one gets to the point it need water everyday is when I'd repot now.

The bigger the pot the easyer it is for a newbe. I did learn a one gal pot can hold up to a 13" plant. 2 of mine dropped bad at 13" until I got them in the big 10" pots. One side note is both of the droppy ones turned out to be male so that may have been the problem.

This will be a pic run thru of the air system.

You can see the AC inlet to the room. Also on both sides of the door are two air inlets for the grow box.

What I've done is attach a 4" dry hose to 50% of the air inlet by the AC vent.

The hose runs up to the 430 watt ballast. A 12 volt computer fan suck air thru the hose and blows on some louvers. The cold air blows thru the ballast. The ballast is always cool to the touch. The fan only runs when the lights are on.

This pic was take awhile ago before the Mylar. You can see the sound proof stuff (blue). But light can pass thru some. There is a better shot of the ballast set up.

Next is the coffee csn csrbon filter. It's attached to the sucktion side of the blower.

The outlet hose goes thru the roof and down the side.

It exhausts out the window.
