Which Strains Produce "ROCK-Hard-Nugs"?

I'm surprised 10 weeks is too long for folks. I avoid amber, but most of my strains have ran 9-11 weeks and good things come from those who wait.

My MLI will be rock hard, and looks to be a 8-9 week finisher. Haven't smoked her but man does she have such a sweet, sugar aroma. Downside to this strain is how slow and lack of vigor it has in veg, a problem with IBL.

Eta bodhi superstitious was pretty dense, quick veg and was a 9 weeker. An overall good hybrid.

If you hurry , you can grab some Tom Hills monkey balls by Hazeman at a few seedbanks, if you threw a dried bud at someone and hit them in the head, it would knock them out..They are a limited release however....

Cherry pie had about the densest and hardest buds I've ever seen, GSC were a close second and stickier.

If you hurry , you can grab some Tom Hills monkey balls by Hazeman at a few seedbanks, if you threw a dried bud at someone and hit them in the head, it would knock them out..They are a limited release however....

gorilla glue #4 has some rock hard nugs. more solid than any other strain ive grown or smoked in 15+years.

OG Ghost also has rock hard nugs.

both strains grown under 2x 600hps (73-75* lights on, 73* lights off), 1443 ppm every feeding (feed/feed/water).

I should note that I've had cuts from the same strain grow fluffy in soil while a side by side in hydro grew rocks. There are other factors than just genetics, perhaps feed / ph related.

Ditto! Both versions of my Cherry Pie are solid rocks and my GSC
nugs are also rock solid!

I don't know, but most strains can be "rock hard", although I do believe some strains are simply not dense (some sativas and hazes come to mind).

I do know environment has a large role. I've ran my goji cut countless times now, I've found if temperatures are high, the buds lose density, I know feeding plays a role as too much nitrogen in flower also seems to have the affect of loss of density. Also some people seem to harvest early, which definitely plays a role. The last few days/a week are the best point where buds seem to plump up and fill in.

Agreed. Personally I've only had a few strains that truly finished in less than 70 days.

original misty (HGF) i grew this about 10 years ago, one of the phenos produced nuggets that were very dense compared to most plants
i split open a few of the tops when growing, i was convinced it had seeded itself from the look of it
gladly it was seed free just very hard nugs, average resin with an afghan taste

Agreed. Personally I've only had a few strains that truly finished in less than 70 days.

I should add that if used properly one could achieve equal or greater yields in 15% less flowering time using CMH.

Agreed. Many times I think either people are counting arbitrarily (12/12 started prior to an individual starts counting), are growing indicas, or harvesting early.

I harvest when the flowers are ready (80% cloudy, 10 amber, 10 clear) or as close to that ratio as possible. means a 9-9.5 week flower time starting flowering time when preflowers form, NOT when I switch to 12/12. if I count 12/12, then 10-10.5 weeks.

This is what I mean by arbitrary. Accurate counting starts at the flip. That explains why people think the strain is 8 weeks instead of the actual 9.5-10 weeos
