Good info. Vero available options and pricing are attractive for home builders aren't they. All said and done I would have saved a lot, just to get some experience, starting 'cheap'. I know it's all in the specs but building 'something' forces us newbs to learn (something)
Think i'd start with Vero and cheap drivers, maybe even 'chinese' cobs/ arctic h/s.. to build one and get it up and going (It can always be used to veg) I didn't, stuff takes so damn long to get here no point waiting another 4/5 weeks, seem to have one of everything haha - was a pretty expensive exercise and do have a few spare parts

Got a 5K AB locally, it was around $60us. Still, single, is cheaper than Newark etc. We have pretty good import allowances, I know many countries don't.
