:weed: just wanted some input on my first grow so far..GOOD and BAD , all welcome

i have done alot of research and think this is going o.k so far

sorry no attachments but all photos are in my gallery,i dont like to keep them on my computer to long...saftey first :mrgreen:

so if you could take a look and comment on this thread that would be cool,lol

plants are 14 days old (out of soil ) 400hps , (2) 48" dual t8s

dates on picture uploads are correct as far as grow time.

4x4x8,i was only going 16 plants but so many sprouted...34 total in room

hoping for half females at least

i could not let the others stay under flours after seeing the results of the hps

still have others under the flours and they are half the size

mostly indaca, only one looks more sativa...i started lst with that one,just a little practice for now.

o.k. today i got nuts from foxfarm..GROW BIG , TIGER BLOOM , BIG BLOOM

QUESTION: the instructions say...do not mix concentrates together, unclear if it is o.k. to mix one at a time but in the same gallon jug..meaning mix one let settle then add the other to the same gallon.

anyone with good know how input would be great..thanks

today would be day 15 out of soil...ill try and post new pics ( attachments ) tonight

I am wondering if you would have better light coverage with the 2 fluro fixtures set up perpendicular to the hps. I mean on the side walls facing each other for side lighting. I might would get lights a little closer also.
You should wait until they are at least 30ds old before you add nutes.
Then you should start with 1/4 strength.
I think they are reffering to not mixing all up at the same time. You should add each dose of each each time you make a batch of nutes.

the 400hps is 14" away from tops, dont want to get any closer...the flours are mainly to send more of the blue spectrum with actinic blue lights for veg. once in flower the flours bulbs will be replaced with 3000k to help with side lighting

do you have in and out ventilation?

what are you gonna do when the plants need to go into bigger pots?

your plants already look so crouded.

you need an isloating fan running in your room i didnt see one.

i just put up a couple Q's for you

ventilation: a.c. intake in front left corner and fan intake in the back right corner..both 4"...squirrel fan in attic pulling from top for exhaust 4" port

pot size: 2.9 gallon the others i had to leave in 1 gallon waiting to sex all

isolating fans: there are 2 just above the flours in the front and rear corner

also i just added nutes at 1/4 strength,using 2 tsb of each per gallon jug...GROW BIG , BIG BLOOM.

Wow those do look A LOT better than the fluoro's!

Damn it I got to get a HPS system and it sucks because I can afford one at the moment but I woulld rather wait till after we move so I am not hauling around growing supplies and whatnot, not to mention around MY family things have a way of getting broken and they won't replace shit.So i decided to wait but that's beside the point.

Go HPS!

wow. ummm. what kind of soil are you using and be CAREFUL with big bloom. grow big is great at a 1/4 strength but big bloom should not be needed at all untill a week before flower. fox farm has a guide FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company if you are going with their products. i used just superthrive and grow big in ocean forest with bat guano and perlite and got amazing results my first time. but using big bloom i burned my plants. let us know the results of your feeding. 3 gallon are fine to mother and or flower in so dont worry about that. and your light could be closer, even more so with an air cooled hood. less stretch = more SOG
