i'm watching bro. i have one lone sour diesel that i started before the mites showed their face. it has had a hard time but is starting show improvement. i put it under a par38 led 18w flood and came back a couple days later to find it had bleached, pulled the led bulb and put it under a 23w par38 cfl flood. now that it is looking better i'm gonna transplant it into a 5 gal. bucket and start pouring on the light. i'm still got a mix of lights but thinking about converting a 400w high bay mh to a homemade cool hood setup. lost hours at work means diy stuff, but i really need 800 watts for the 4'x4'x7' box.

yeah those par 38 led's can be put to close i got 2 at 3000k and they have to stay up 14 inches till the plant is used to it. I dotn have my leds in use right now. I will soon. I am waiting till i can turn off my ac unit for the winter in my flower room. I really think i need more fluorescents and led's so i can save tons on power bill. I spend $75 a month on power. that is allot if i can cut that by 1/3 i would save $300 year.

the little humping bear sent me a sincity blue moonshine x buddha's sister cross i really want to try. i still have my bag seed crosses that i made from last summer and the last true indoor grow too, as well as some other strains i have picked up alone the way. the wife wants no more then two plants at a time or i have to stay off the forums as she get scared. as long as she is happy then no problems. been trying to get her to help on the grow but as of yet she has not, that being said it she doesn't go in there then she doesn't know how many plants i have at a time. so we will see.

between my exhaust fan and my a/c the wife was pissed about the power bill. that is the main reason i haven't used the 400 watt lights, but as many lights as i have had it may have been a better choice.

My gf doesnt help yet but when trimming comes she has no choice this time. Yeah power bills suck. when i get ahead i am buying solar panels for sure. I can get batteries at costs(interstate batteries) they have the really good 6 volt deep cycle which is the best for lasting forever. But again down the road. I need to get a couple years of good grows in so i can be stocked up so when I move i wont have to worry. that is why i want to make allot of Frenchy style hash.

I know batteries and stuff is as much as the panels. I can get 25 Panels doing 180 watts average for 12 hrs(54k a day) in my zone for $2500 and the rest will cost me $3000. So I think its worth it in the long run. Wind is $15k for the turbine i want and $4500 to hook it up with 0 batteries. So solar to start. I can run 24 hrs easy on 54k a day. even if i say 1 is always down i can run on 53k power a day. Now that is chines with a 3 year warrenty. panels take 1-3 weeks. SO i would order extra 5 so i always have spares. after 3 years i add wind. That is when i get a farm.

i would build my own turbines out of 55 gallon drums, and use a low speed dc motor for the generator. your right about panels first as the sun shines, but the wind doesn't always blow. i thought about using 8d deep cycle 12 volt batteries. i know led would be a better light for either type of setup. hell just getting off the grid would be great.

12 volt batteries are easy to find but they dont last as long as a 6v does. The difference is the 6v is taller and same width but the plates are allot thicker, makes them weigh more also. As for the drum with dc motor yeah i have seen them on the dyi threads. DC is sweet and will save tons since a regular extension cord can be used to run it. Even the solar panels that has 12 volt out need to be configured into 24 volt so you can use cheaper wire to carry the current without loosing it. then converted back or put 4 6v into a 24 volt configuration. with your dc setup it goes right into battery chargers then pull from the batteries so you dont get spikes. the cost of doing it with ac is batteries/ chargers and alternators. i will hit the dyi again. thanks for reminding me about them.

you got a good point on the 6v ver. the 12v batteries. look at the ametrk motors, they are 24vdc, 40vdc, and 90vdc they make the best motor typr generators.

Okay pic updates the carolina reaper and several pics of the hps/md side and t5ho side.
here they are ripening fast in the flower room.

The hps side doing great its like this all over the 6 ladies. they have stopped stretching at 6'7' tall lmao. that is from the floor.


THe t5 side is so fucking frosty omg.



You can see the fan leaves are being used as i know the roots are not happy from the MicroKote( i am an idiot for ever trying snake oil methods).

now you may wonder how they are so frosty. Well Riddle showed me that high sulfur will help the thrichome production. I must say he is right. these are 22 days since flowers started and 32 from flip. Lights are 13/11 right now and will change them to 12.5/11/5 tonight. then each week I will lower it .5 on till i get to 11.5 on and 12.5 off. they will finish with that.

The hps is gonna yield the most for sure and seeing all the frost on them wow.

Okay i finially got my 4x2x4 tent finished and ready for use. well i need 1 exhaust fan but no bigger yet as i can vent it with the zippers easy enough. I installed 5 23 watt clf's 4 6500k / 1 2700k. Installed the 180 watt led 10 band to cover 70% of it and let the cfl cover the other 30%. they should keep my temps perfect around 76F. Now i am gonna soak a few seeds and label some sticks for my ghost clones. Not sure what i will drop yet still thinking about it.

Okay since the tent is ready i said screw it and i dropped in water till they sink then into nursury pots 2x2 inch
4 red purps
3 golden goat x pck (pakistan critical kush)
3 cough x pck
3 m + m
3 sleestack + skunk
3 heaven + hell
I figure it will take 6 weeks till i sex them or they show sex. The males will be separated and pollen collected. the females will be cloned then flowered. So next grow will not be AIS or scrogs. I want to top each 4 times and test to see what i like. I love having 3 grow area's.
