even so PH is important and if it is staying stable in the low 4's it needs to be adjusted or your going to have issues.

so my silicon was scheduled to be delivered today, USPS guy shows up and wants me to pay $9.75 for my package!! apparently the seller taped the package and that voids the shipping because you pre pay shipping for a specific envelope size and its not allowed to be taped...so now I have to wait for it to be shipped all the way across the country and then shipped back.

well got that sorted and picking the package up. Also the seller is going to send me some free samples for the troubles...maybe it will be something good.

Alright, after a slight mishap with my pro tek silicon supplement (something with shipping) it arrived today, did a rez change and rinsed all the baking soda off the roots..brought PPM up to 1100 and PH is good (for now) at 5.9.

something is not right..im chalking it up to genetics but do you think I have a borderline N tox?

the shit on the leaves is carbon that fell from a smoke while I was picking balls off the underside.

Looks a lot like N tox with the leathery looking leaves but nothing too bad.

I'd say genetics more than anything Matt.

any guess what the deficiency/tox is? PH is at 6.0 and PPM is around 715, i may lower the ppm back down to around 500 and see if the problem gets worse.

growing in DWC unit and using dyna grow liquid plant food, i mixed a bottle of grow/bloom 50/50 earlier this summer and have been using that because i havent had a chance to grab another bottle of grow. thinking it may be a p-k tox but im a bit unsure.

how old is it love how people just take a stab never heard of dyna grow be4 but around that big in dwc i have it on about 2ml per ltr of canna with a ppm of 1100-1200

yeah I have it on about 1100 ppm right now seems to be the sweet spot. I just think my food is high in N for this stage.

No. The Si supplement helps cell walls and stems.

But you're only using it to raise pH.


Leathery leaves is attributed to N.
