I have another newbie problem as this is my very first grow..My natural ph from tap is very alkaline, around 8.5..im growing in sunshine #4 pro mix which i read was good for growing and has good ph balancing properties...it also stays hot in my closet grow b/c the natural temp here is 90plus outside(usually 80-85 in grow room but temps have started to lower lately)..my plant is a week shy from being 2mnths old from seed..its on its 4weeks of flower..Here is my problem, i finally got a ph meter and tested the runoff of the plant which was 7.3..the plant has been doing quite well, so i thought up till a couple weeks ago..i noticed some leaves yellowing and the plant started getting very dry feeling..the tips of the plant started to claw, which i thought was unusual as well because i never really fed it much..(1/4th bloom nutes per gallon..used almost full gallon on plant which is in a 3gallon pot)...as a newbie, i figured maybe i overfed it so i did a flush on the plant to see if that would help..so far the plant has just started spiraling downhill as most of the big fan leaves are turning yellow and dying w pretty much every symptom ive seen people have with a plant..i assume now its bc i flushed with water so alkaliine...most of the small leaves are on their way to turning yellow and are clawing down and curling but the white hairs and buds look the same..not much bigger but just the same and some of the smaller leaves are still somewhat green but seem to be going yellow as well...i finally got some ph down as of yesterday and im just wondering if its too late for the plant to recover...gonna try and keep it alive just because ive come this far but just need some pointers or opinions on the matter..
