You think I'd sympathise because some of them are Irish?

Going from the political knowledge of the general public here, I wouldn't let most Irish people run an egg and spoon race, let alone a nation.

It's not gonna change my mind on voter ID tho, it's the standard pretty much everywhere except parts of the US.

Don't elderly people/students need ID to drive? For visiting the bank? For going to a bar?

So a person can't have a beer without ID but you'd let them vote...

And it is only Democrats throwing a tantrum about it. That is a pretty enlightening point.

An election representative in Ohio. This is one of the state where our left-tards claim Mitt was trying to suppress votes.

It seems that President Obama has an especially ardent supporter in the veteran Ohio poll worker.

Richardson told a local television station this month that she voted twice last November. She cast an absentee ballot and then voted at the polls as well.

"Yes, I voted twice," Richardson told WCPO-TV. "I, after registering thousands of people, certainly wanted my vote to count, so I voted. I voted at the polls."

Authorities also are investigating if she voted in the names of four other people, too, for a total of six votes in the 2012 presidential election.

"I'll fight it for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama's right to sit as president of the United States," Richardson vowed when asked about the voter fraud investigation that is now under way.

"She appears to have used her position as a poll worker to cover her tracks. That would be someone who is an official in the elections process, using that position to commit a fraud.

Three other absentee ballots in the names of different people were submitted to the Board of Elections from Richardson's address on Nov. 1. Officials say the handwriting on those ballots is similar and that they were all received together, on the same day that Richardson's absentee ballot arrived at the office. Richardson maintains that some of the other voters live at her house.

Normal in a Democrat's world!

"The voter said yes she 'voted early' and then voted again, then she asked 'what's the problem?'" according to the report.

imagine that, you try to disenfranchise people along party lines and they get up in arms about losing their constitutional right to vote.

why is it that only republicans are whining about the 0.0001151% of fraudulent votes? it's a negligible amount.

give it up, we all know it has nothing to do with preventing 0.0001151% of fraud.

it only has to do with suppressing minority votes that lean democratic.
So essentially, minorities are too stupid/poor to get a $20 ID.

How can you possibly call other people racist if this is your worldview?

you're the one who keeps saying that. i am just pointing out the facts.

if the elections were held tomorrow with voter ID, 25% of blacks would be stripped of their constitutional right to vote, a right they had to fight for and a battle they won over a hundred years ago.

but good ol' 5'2'' harrekin isn't comfortable with all this new fangled minority rights stuff.
