Hi Farmars,

Im growing White Widow in 4x4 tent
400w MH
in Soil

Leaf looking lighter than normal, lower leaf turn yellow, and slow grow
is that any kind of deficiency?
what should I do?

are you useing any nutrients for grow? if so what? if not i would get some in there asap. a good veg nute with high N. I use Calmg, big bloom, and super guana tea. High N.
also is there white dots on your leaves or is that a camera trick?

Yes, im using nutrients for veg. Where i live can not get any brand of nutrients you guys mention in this forum. Im just using some liquid nutrients i can find in the store. The formula is 7-3-3. is that fine in this stage of grow? I also have Northern Light and cheese going at the same time with the same nutrients. they look fine.
I think the white spots on the leaf is camera reflect. I only saw brown spot on lower leaves.
I was think maybe magnesium def. or manganese def.?
Any idea what's my problem?

btw how do you use Calmg? Is there anything can be instead? whats the formula? Im trying to get some, but it seems we dont have the one you guys use here.

Spider mites is my guess. Check your leaves for holes.

Just check my girl. Don't think is spider mites issue. The light green leaves color is there after seeding. And now leaves also feel dryer than normal.
Anybody know what's my problem?

have you ph'ed your soil recently? sometimes nutrients can build up and cause lockout becuase the soul gets to hot. if that white widow is not a huge feeder then nutrients added will build up and cause lockouts/ or ph imbalances.

CalMg is only absoutly neccisary if you run a reverse osmosis filtering system. if your on city water there is no real need to add calmg. well/city water can be tested with tds meter when first getting water out of tap to see what your starting baseline is. also if on city water be sure to distill for a few days before useing to get rid of flouride/clorine. yucky stuff

and fyi i live BFE and order most of my supplies through amazon. works great for me and have access to most prodcuts on the market.

I did not really measure it when when I add Nutrients. Just follow the instruction of the juice maybe a little less than they recommend . add until I can see water come out from the bottom. In early stage, I add Nutrients every other week, and water in between. Now I add every 7-10 day also water in between.

Last night I water then, and tested the water came out from the bottom. PH Its the same as what I added. I saw some article that tells this is how you measure PH in soil. Is this right?

Grab a cheap wet/dry shop vac, they usually come with a long arm attacthment that can reach between any tight spaces to reach your trays, works great for flushing you can push alot of water through.

PH: yes just test your water before you feed. and test the runoff and compare the difference. Dont forget to let your water sit for at LEAST 24 hours to get rid of nasty clorine and shit.

and also test your runoff with your EC meter?

-also i looked up this Klasmann, seems like more of a comercial nutrient. it still has the same parts NPK with other micronutrients ec. all good stuff but i would really think about swtiching to a line made specificlly for cannibus.

You must have very soft water with an ec if 0, 1. Your ph is high and I guess this is simple ph lockout. Ph your feed/water to 6, 5. You probably don't need calmag maybe just Mg if you still showing deficiencies after a week or so.

Needs : N, cal, mag. Once your N gets low its like a domino effect locking out cal and mag.
Amazon sells all kinds of nutes for a decent price. You are going to have better success when using a whole nutrient line.
Pic 1 shows water on leaves, dont spray your plants, youre asking for mold with high humidities. When you water your plants you create enough humidity already

FOr sure man didnt mean to pry. sounds like you got your work cut out for you. and the fox farm line works good. just remember start with 1/4 strength of what they say. I have a chart somewhere that tells exactly what to use each week for FF.

I also saw GH Flora, its cheaper and also works well from the article i saw. When using GH flora or FF, I need add Calmg right?

What I have using for hydro which is made for for vegs. have A+B bottle. They told me to put it equally, and set EC at 1.1. but in flowering stage I can only raise the EC by adding more, and equally still. dont know if this is right, but it worked tho. I heard for beginer should have at least 1gram/watt. Im way behind that...

I tried DWC first Its a lot of work when manage water and i also have water temp issue then I build RDWC. Im just not good at making this. Have leaking problem after 1 run. Its flower stage reach summer here. My room Temp. up to 32-34C. Buds sucks so bad. It was looking good and bushy in Veg stage. I have made an Ebb and flow system for aqualponics vegs. Its easier for me the make the system. Im thinking make one of this system in my tent.
Do you know what kind of set up would work well in the tent?

Last year I tried Veg in small tent and move one or two plants to flowering tent every month that make sure I can harvest very month, but dont have good yield. Any idea how to work best yield with two tent?

My experience is that having a veg and flower tent just doesn't work, especially if you are being tight with time. If you start and finish 4 nice sized plants per tent, with 8 weeks veg from seed/cutting, 2 weeks change to 12/12 and 10 weeks of flower then you'll be harvesting 4 nicely vegged plant's every 10 weeks. So around 12oz at 3 zips per plant. Plus if you stagger the grows (So you harvest 1 tent every 10 weeks instead of both every 20) Then you can take cuttings every 10 weeks or so for the next grow before you change the light cycle.

Now im also having truble with another girl. The soil just dont get dry, and slow growth small leaves. feels like colas dont stretch out.
Am I having root issue? I can provide pics later.

How much light do you have over them? They don't look so happy. Let them dry out then a good feed.
