Do you count wk 1 day 1 as soon as you go to 12/12

When you put the lights on 12/12 do you count that as week 1 day 1 or do you wait until you see them starting to show signs of bud growth and count that as week 1 day 1 many thanks

Well its not actually when they show sex , because they can show sex in Vegetative, if you want to count the flowering time the best way to do it its when you see the first sign of flowering pistils , that will give you the most accurate date to compare to your seed provider Times of Flowering.
This is normally somewhere between 2 or 3 weeks for the switch to 12/12.
I Just start counting 2 weeks after the switch. but i try not to worry to much about the flowering times .. its just headaches ... just let her grow when shes ready shes ready.

Many thank friend so many people that I have talked to personally don't now nothing they tell you anything basically full of shit . can you help me I seem to be harvesting early sometimes late when is the right time to harvest when the pistils start turning brown or when the thc crystals are clear to milky 10% brown or what do you think..many thanx
 
Soon as i turn to 12/12 thats day 1 for me but some people start there day count from the first site of flowers all up to you enjoy
 
I roll from day one, as in a perpetual, it is important for me to keep my schedules exact. This requires me to know my strains inside out though, ie. I know certain strains will be perfectly ripe on a very specific day.

thats some harsh words for someone looking for awnsers , but anyway you start counting as you please like all the people said before , in the other post i just told you the way that you can compare to the Flowering times you check on the sites otherwise you allways say your flowering times is much more than it says on the site.

but one thing i can tell you for shure , when a plants shows sex it have nothing to do with flowering , that your plant saying you that she's ready to flower , but you can keep her is veg as you please and she will not flower.

From what a read from your previous post i think you are trying to decide the harvest time by the flowering time , thats a rookie mistake , your plant will tell you when she's ready , forget the calendar. just let her ripe.
You have litterally TONS of info on when to harvest , just take some time and search.

I quit counting days with my last grow and glad I did. I just went on overall look of the plant vs breeders times. Because when that time rolls around and you pass the breeders time, you get those itchy scissor fingers. It took a good 4 smallish grows to figure out when to chop based on ripeness. When the right time comes, you just know.
