How long until harvest do you think?! First timer

Hey guys,

Been a while since I posted, but I'm finally getting close to my first harvest. I ran into a few bumps along the way (calcium def, then a nute burn) but the buds themselves haven't really been effected.

So I understand that the hairs are supposed to turn orange, but whats really important is the trichromes turning cloudy. well to me they are mostly cloudy but this again is my first grow so I have no first hand exprience. The hairs however, are still mostly white! which i thought was not indicative to harvest time.

Anyways, any advice would be great! My estimated harvest time was sept 28th.

Since it's my first grow, I'm getting impatient! so I need reassurance that it's still to early

They look mostly clear to me, but I'm used to looking with a higher magnification (~40-60x). Up close, it's very distinct between clear, cloudy and amber.

Heh ^^ Your girl(s?) look good! Im with spek9 though, its harder to tell without a closeup shot of the tricromes themselves.

Your plant will produce new trichromes and new pistils throughout its life, so it can be tricky. The big tell though is when the majority of your tricromes are cloudy with a few amber - that seems to be when the majority of people harvest.

Do you have a smartphone? I zoomed in and got as close a shot as I could with mine, and then zoomed in further on the still picture in the album. That was close enough for me to see the difference between clear and cloudy

If your in a rush 10 days if not give it 2 weeks you can see some hairs turning cloudy/amber it will dense up the bud aswell the longer you wait. Happy smoking

I actually took the close up pictures through a 30x microscope with my phone.. I didn't think about using the zoom on my phone as well though!

LOL ya, I keep reading these " Am I ready posts" and everyone is screaming two more weeks I figured! just wanted reassurance
