I have a plant of unknown in atm it seems to have yellowing and curling..I cheked ph and it was off the scale from the tap,,waiting on digitalwand so I can get closer.... it seems like its nute lock from what ive read.. ie ph is out so much it can't uptake nutes or locking them up or something I think

yes and perlite and a handful of worm castings per gallon
this time around i used peat , perlite , lime , and 8-8-8 time release granules that i use in the garden , feedings have been minimal and plants seem very happy
started to taper lights off 24/0 at around 2.5 months

i think your older plant is too wet
if your pot is really heavy this might be the problem ... i dunno hard call

Urs look oh so nice... nice setup. Im not sure. My friend gave it to me he had around 10 the same size except that one which was shorter n wider leaves ... so put it in only had two a day water but coco seemed dry and plant not looking to crash hot..so added nutes and it got worse so added more water no change so upped water schedule from twice to 6 daily....
I never thought of mixing ferto in coco directly... do u still have a res with nutes?? Btw my lights are 20/4.. I had a auto that didnt germ... so left it like that

the way i figure is im runnin small amounts of nutes / amendments so i dont have to worry about the first 3 weeks sometime more ....
i hand feed small amounts daily and soak the pots down once a week in the shower
big girls in the 5 and 7 gal containers are drinking around gallon a day right now just a hair under is what im giving them the rest just get a dab on top and a inch or so in the tray

coco is really high in salts ( since coconuts are usually around salt water ) and alot of times isnt cleaned in the factory
...... over watering can cause necrotic patches which are dry dead spots, tips, edges and leaf tips curl down and plant feels very springy even though it appears wilted
what about temps ?

the shower is brilliant idea..
I watched a friend do it in his back shed water daily by hand ..sometimes weekly.. lol..he end up watering his plants with some powered co2 mix that was made up by accident ..ine two days his plants were all dead.. I mean sitting in a hot field for 3 months crispy brown dead..
