Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) traveled up to New Hampshire to visit Generation Opportunity’s chapter there and made some bold remarks after one person in the audience asked whether he’d repeal executive orders if he were elected president.

Without saying whether he would run or not, Paul replied, “I think the first executive order that I would issue would be to repeal all previous executive orders,” which really got the crowd pumped, Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle reported.

“Democracy is messy, but you have to build consensus to pass things. But it’s also in some ways good, because a lot of laws take away your freedom. So it should be hard to pass a law,” he added.

“And it, frankly, when you do it the proper way, is. We’ve done way too many things [the wrong way]: Signing statements, altering legislation by the president, are wrong and unconstitutional and shouldn’t happen. Executive orders shouldn’t either.”

Paul spoke to Boyle after the event and reiterated he was serious about lawlessness creeping into the presidency:

I’m very serious that the biggest problem with President Obama is his usurpation of power, destroying the separation of powers and not believing there are any checks and balances and believing that the executive branch can do whatever it wants—and this is exemplified in immigration, Obamacare and more—but really it’s the most seriously destructive thing he’s doing to this country,” Paul said. “While Obamacare’s bad, Dodd-Frank is bad, immigration is bad, the problem is is he’s doing it in an unconstitutional way. You can see how the crowd really understands that. The problem is he’s acting like a legislature.

While I enjoy the fact he drives the left loonier while championing many of the same causes, it's becoming painfully clear he's just another politician.

Executive orders are unconstitutional so I'll make an executive order undoing those doesn't seem right to me.

I would still vote for him over any of the last candidates or over Hillary.

Paul doesn't stand a chance in 2016

Come to think of it, no GOP candidate does..

Clinton will likely win the dem. primary, I haven't really heard much from the left regarding more prominent front runners, and the right has nobody to even put up the slightest competition. Rubio, Cruz (ROFL!), Jindal, Paul.. none stand a chance. Why can't the republicans find a valid leader?

What really sucks is the GOP has a tendency to play turns. It wouldn't surprise me if Romney was up again.

They need new blood that's for sure.

Jindal has actually done a much better job in LA than their last gov. He showed leadership over the BP spill among other things. People will have to have forgotten his howdy doody speech after 08' election.

Let's face it, everyone is.
no, only racist scumbags like you and ginwilly who want to repeal civil rights and/or join white nationalism groups knowingly.

since rend pawl is still working with white supremacy groups like A3P, he qualifies as well.

it takes a special kind of shameless racist to say they would have marched alongside MLK, but would defend the restaurant owner who told MLK that they could not eat at the same table as you.

Just another political figure, in it for himself, that fooled you again. That is all they are, just American Politicians. Don't you get it?

The system is designed so that there can be no Magic Man. The Press has the freedom to let anyone claim that they are.
