The 5th post from the top in the Canadian section is a good place to inform yourself on Tweed. Photos included.
Oh my - my poor vision and one-track mind have been EXPOSED. It's the most replied to thread on here I think!

Totally saw that thread, and I think I read the first few - but I don't know a whole lot about the growing lingo or anything, so I think it was just over my head and I moved on.

Checking it out though - thanks!

Well you haveof a good point there. Maybe we are ungrateful for what we have and had. I concede that somewhat.
But we still have some valid complaints.
And ya where you live must really suck...sorry for ya. But maybe moving isn't an option. If it is....I fuckin would. Sounds like a real square place in your area......come to Canada and we'll blast some rips and smoke some fatties.
Take a holiday to Toronto,,,,it's a way cool city. Not much you can't do there...and I have too.....lol

That actually looks a lot like where i live. I've thought about relocating but I wouldn't qualify for anything medical and Colorado is too far from my friends and family plus they probably don't like the idea of 100,000 stoners flooding into the state. Me and my roommate always talk about moving to canada. It looks like a really nice place. Florida might be an option if they pass something reasonable.

But really, most of the med, decrim, legalization laws areall BS. If you can't grow theirs no point. I'm almost glad there's no legalization here. No permits, no taxes, no plant limits, and i can sell for more.

I just realized that maybe the reason they are taking so long to change the laws is because they know once someone gets a taste of freedom and has the ability to do something they are much much less likely to give it up than are to fight for it if they never had it at all.

You are entirely correct, complaining is OK. No issue there. But as I said in my original post "I am not trying to take your right to complain away, I am just asking that you do it in a way that does not look like a bunch of spoiled teenagers who found a way to get an acupuncturist to get them in the program." Bringing up issues with supply, costs and availability or process for authorization is absolutely warranted. Complaining about THC concentration and the fact that "it does not get me as high as the weed I buy on the street" is just fuel for people who would rather see this go away completely.

On the other hand, if the LPs are in fact trying to censure justified criticism by using their de-facto monopoly then that is reprehensible and could be a nice cause for a court case. Having been on both sides of these types of issues though I am going to reserve judgement for now.

In the end, I just started this thread because I am happy with the fact that today, in Canada, I get to choose among several strains of weed and smoke a joint to ease my symptoms without the fear of punishment from anyone. That to me is progress. Should we stop there? Hell no, but we do need to be thankful for at least having that and shitting on the companies trying to help is not going to solve the issue. Maybe Emery has a point, if we all get together and vote in block we can make a difference this time.

Well as a new person on this site, glad your here to tell everyone how to act, because people that have issues that cause pain/mobility issues/etc. 24 and 7 sometimes get their shit in a knot, I think their allowed to get pissed and sound off on a forum rather than their friends and family. So yeah if they act a little spoiled yeah so what?
Maybe yer just trolling trying to get everyone pissed at yer comments ..... maybe that how you get off ...... weird but your choice
as for you not accepting any help with payment for your LP meds .... So you must be doing ok money wise .... so that makes it ok for you to hack on someone who doesn't have money that complains about the price scheme?!?!?!?
How they do it is up to them, but glad we have you the complaint police!

Next time you buy a car (you will cause apparently your doing ok for money) and things go wrong with it..... now don't complain and get upset about it, specially when it happens time and time again.... complain the right way only peeps!

:wall:

I'm going to assume that at this juncture you are either being willfully ignorant, or grossly uninformed. I will assume the later. Are you really serious when wondering why patients are complaining about low THC strains? Considering THC is the main cannabinoid(short of the CBD boom the last 2-3yrs) which provides relief for patients ailments, one does not have to be a genius to see why patients are mad that the cannabis provided is much lower in it's active compounds when purchased from a legal source than the BM. Strains which, when grown properly have wayyyy higher % numbers anywhere else you procure them EXCEPT the legal route is WHY patients are complaining about the lower potency. Please spend more time reading and educating yourself instead of lumping us all into a category of recreational users

they should already be running HEPA or better intake filters, it's pharmaceutical grade weed after all.. there should be hepas and electrostatics everywhere recirculating the air keeping it all clean.. no outside clothes, shower before entry, etc etc.. shit should be on lockdown like a tissue culture lab..

yet for as long as time began it was growing outside with all the bugs and thingies, seemed to have survived without issue. said before ... just cause you use medical grade equipment in no way means that's what being produced by these LP's

Well yeah, true...but outside grows seem to tolerate these issues so much better than indoors. I don't know why that is. Indoors, things have a way of getting "trapped" or "instilled"...no clue if that makes sense...fuck I think I have heat stroke...I need a cold beer.

Really? You genuinely have no clue why closed systems have more issues with pests and disease than ones in the open air?

pretty simple...indoors you "play" mother nature...outdoors the pro takes over...predator bugs abound outdoors...I always find 5-10 preying mantis' every year, and 4 different species of lady-bugs...indoors you have to control the pests...often with chemical solutions......indoors is a PITA to me...my .02
