Sorry stow and mr. Head idk how you guys can dismiss that the guy outside the door heard her say no, or does he have a stake in this as well and the defendants word is the only one worth a damn?
I'm not dismissing anything. She said no, and he stopped. I'm not sure that I buy the whole hands down her pants line, but it may be true. I wasn't there.

What I take umbrage with is TY's comment of hoping his life is ruined over this. That's an incredible comment to make over something like this. Had he of ignored her request to stop, and physically forced a sexual encounter then I would agree with TY 100%. Lock him up and toss the key. But that's not the case here. Not even close.

I hope that neither of you have the misfortune of finding yourself caught up in the legal meat grinder over a slight error in judgement, or a woman looking to exploit a situation for financial gain. It happens, and I wouldn't wish your life to be ruined over it.

I think I was 18 at the time young and stupid it made me mad, questioning someones sexual orientation was quite the insult where I grew up. I was called gay the entire night because I wouldn't fuck a fat 16 year old, it was a house party there were like 20 people who would call me fag all night until I left. Who wants to fuck in a house full of people? I mean if she was hot I woulda been down, but the ugly ones are supposed to be a secret lol.

I'm not nearly as ignorant anymore thankfully. I'm more open to ugly chicks ;)
Eh we are all stupid at that age. Like we have something to prove.

It was insult when I was growing up as well, I just didn't see it as one. Shit, I was the guy fucking my girlfriend at other people's house parties. I gave no fucks, anytime anyplace in front of just about any one:hump::idea:

I was a dirty old man then, still am now lol

As long as I keep my hands to myself, I don't think it will be a problem.

It's just a visceral reaction, and part of flirting isn't groping on some woman. I don't want his life ruined, that should be for people that do even worse things, but if allegations are proven true in court, repercussions should be in order.

I wish I still could do it like I did in highschool, like 12 years ago lolol, I would bang my girl in the middle of the quad, bleachers, in open classrooms, against the apartments anywhere... there would be times her mom would go into the store so I would bang her in the parking lot...

God what it is to be young .... you can't get away with that shit after you hit 18 you can actually get a charge on your record. I forget what they call it but it is almost the same as being a sex offender.

That's reasonable. If what he did is deemed a crime, then he'll have to live with the consequences. I just don't feel that this is deserving of having his life ruined.

To be clear, if what she said is true, I'm not trying to condone it. I have never, and would never approach a woman like that. I also have a son, and he is being taught to be respectful towards women. He has a mother that is very much a feminist, and he has two older sisters that he will learn from as well, so I'm pretty confident that he will steer clear of any nonsense like this ..... but if he doesn't being sentenced in court will be the least of his worries! :fire:

Lewd and indecent exposure. Ain't no joke but some states are luckily changing some of those laws (like why is a public urination a sex crime?)

Eta man those were the days though. No real worries, sex all day, multiple times a day. Now I'm all tired lol

Well I think we all have been on the wrongside of a nasty rumor at some point. But it seemed that you and mr.head feel this is just some poor fellow under personal attack. Which remains to be proven as do any charges against the guy.

I don't feel bad for him. If the police report is true, then he made a bad decision and handled himself like a scumbag. Do I think it's deserving of a criminal record and further punishment? I'm honestly not sure.

We all draw a line in the sand somewhere on issues like this. I'm sure we all agree that rape is way the fuck over that line. This incident is tap dancing right on that line for me. If he would have ignored her request to stop, then it crosses my line. Had he have exposed himself to her, then that line is crossed. Not sure about this though. I guess if he did indeed try to put his hands down her pants then I would say he deserves the repercussions.

I guess I am just of the opinion that his initial advance was over the top and is deserving of punishment, to a degree. To his credit he did stop but like I said, when your opening move is to steal
second you need to evaluate your game lol. Course im one of those guys that thinks most pda is gross so fucking up against a bulding or anything of that sort is not in my card deck, im wa romantic what can I say...

Reports in Mosul indicate that ISIS fighters have been going door-to-door, entering houses, killing the men and raping the women. Rupert Colville, a spokesman in Geneva for Navie Pillay, the top United Nations human rights official, said that he had received information that four women in Mosul had committed suicide after being raped or forced into marriages with the militants.

Al-Iraqiya TV station published a report about the story of two Iraqi girls who were raped by the armed men of ISIS in Mosul (see video below). The two girls, who are sisters, said that ISIS fighters came into their house, killed the men and afterwards, they took turns raping the women.

“They came into the house. They were disgusting. They were armed and spoke among themselves in a language we did not recognize. We were afraid; I tried to save my sister, but one of them hit me with his weapon – on my body and then on my face – me and my sister "

If I put myself in that situation would I be potentially confused by the chain of events that happened? I think I might be. That's my stance on the subject pretty much.

Hey you're cute
You're cute too
Come here
*she does
He kisses her grabs her boob and tries to get his hand down her pants
she says no
it ends here

*that's where it gets me. Right there, he thought she wanted his tip and she thought she was getting a tip it was a confused initiation of what he thought was intimate contact, I think it's a misunderstanding. A bad one.

Would I act on it the same way? no. This is one of those times when "hey wanna fuck?" comes into play. Three words that will save you a rape charge. Three words that should be taught to any young adult out there looking for action saves a lot of problems when the other party explicitly says yes or no. Teach that shit in schools.

Like Stow says if he kept pushing it, throw away the key, he didn't. I don't think he's a sexual predator, or had any heinous intent or some sort of premeditated plan to fondle a hotel staff member. I think it was a heat of the moment action based on hormones. Probably not the best thing to do, I agree, but I don't think it's worthy of having a criminal record or being listed as a sex offender.

I think the hotel should be held at least a little responsible for sending employees into occupied rooms.
I think they should train their employees on how to deal with sexual advances in the work place by both customers and staff. They are in a profession where they could walk in on naked folks, yet don't seem to have training in how to defuse a sexually charged situation that to myself seems fairly obvious, seems shocking to me. This whole situation wouldn't have happened if she was trained on how to handle hotel guests properly.

I'm not blaming the victim with those statements I am thinking of ways to prevent it in the future. If she wasn't properly trained its not her fault, if she was just trying to be nice it's not her fault, just as it wouldn't be her fault if she wasn't trained on a fork lift and hurt someone. It's on the job training to keep employees safe. Proper training is important on any job, even being a hotel employee cleaning rooms can be extremely dangerous. This guy is a trained killer, and they send her into his room? seems fucking stupid

I feel like going to a local hotel and asking what kind of training they give their employees regarding this stuff. I'm genuinely curious how often an advance like this takes place and never gets reported, or doesn't get police action taken.

I agree on training but housekeepers are minimum wage, immigrants or others we usually look down on (ever seen what gross shit people will do to a hotel room? I have, straight filth these people).

Usually management only wants a happy guest. That's all they are after.

Russia: "Says who?"

ISIS: "Says who?"

Iran: "Says who?"

China: "Says who?"

Race agitators: "Says who?"

Obama: "Not me ! "
Come on brother, all these situations are independent actors with their own agendas.

Do you think the US President has that much power or ability? What about the consequences of escalation (in the case of Russia). What more can one man do, who gets more shit from the opposite side of the aisle that just says no regardless of action? I think at least our concern and action with ISIS is on the right track.
