I'm all for breaking it down..

But..

Lumens per watt and spectral graph seems to show plenty.

Sure we can break it down into this much photons 440nm...630nm..etc. per watt. That's where the scientists and mathematicians comes in.

But we've all been waiting for someone to figure that puzzle out. I'll wait till their done...

And in the end a nice even spectrum...or just in the warm like an hps.

We're going to break that down with monos? Why?
Need to collect that and disperse it evenly with minimal losses...good luck. Or one color gives out in the color scheme? Different currents...droop...so many places for inconsistencies. Too much areas for problems...

White cobs have been nothing but a great solution to a myriad of problems leds have had since their inception.

I am not sure you know what a Cob is?

Not meant definitively

Too many people here are into the ABSOLUTE, no other reality exists

But, if you look at outdoor crops, typically, they are planted in the spring (5000k+) and harvested in the fall (~ 3000K)

I don't think you've done your homework on lighting and efficiency, therefore I will send you a link right here.

We are clearly "learning" soooooooooooo much from this thread:roll:...................As my bartender says : "closing time"

It is a good song

his buds look nice, he is right about no bleaching but when you have your light that far away why would it bleach.

HMMM... They say whites don't work.... Yeah Right ! Three 100 x 3 watt custom ratio white spectrum LED lights. The red glow on the right was a 135 watt red based light. Odd that the plant directly under it grew towards the white light. It was put in there to see how much additional red would affect trichome production. We could not see any difference between them.

Aside from the few ignorant clowns, there's been a lot of good give and take here, the purpose of which is to grow quality meds

Minutia need not apply for 95%+ of mj growers

Pragmatism wins the day, and it is not found with RB monos, though they can be useful to tweak particular white light diodes/COBs. I added a few of each to my BML SPYDR 600

I agree, it's time to close the discussion

My grows speak for themselves

Taken this morning of my Blueberry Cheesecake reveg under BML SPYDR 600
