Hello, my plants have been going since late May and are quite a substantial size now and they look nice and healthy however they have not started flowering yet, bare in mind I am in the uk and I presumed they would have started a couple weeks ago. One or two have some very very small pre flowers but it is really worrying me that they will not finish, any input?

Give them some flowering nutrients to help them along
Thanks could you also recommend me a good nutrient for the flowering stage I have been looking at tiger bloom but don't know it that is really what I'm after. Want some that are good for outdoor plants? Thanks again!

I use Fox Farm nutrients and soluables. I wouldnt recommend buying the whole line for just a few plants. Maybe someone else will chime in on a recommendation

I presume they are outside since you are posting in the outdoor section.. Is there any light around them, Patio? any?

It takes very little light to keep them in veg. I have a master kush in the ground that is flowering for a week or two now and I have a Bubba Kush that is in a 5gal pot on my patio that has a patio light on it till about 10 pm each night and it is still growing with no signs of flowering.. I keep the light on since I don't want it to go in to flower yet. I have learned something as small as a CFL light will keep them in veg.

Got small preflowers but no buds as such..
First frost for me is mid November so should be plenty of time..

Yea outside mate there is a street light not too far away but that doesn't visibly come into the spot they are so I don't think it has any input, do you think that could be affecting it?

Hard to say with out seeing where the plant is and where the street light is. Just a guess but if you are not seeing a shadow from the light when you wave your hand over the plant I would say it is not affecting it.. Have you grown in this spot before with any issues? I keep here from people that things are messed up this year because of moon phases and solar flares but who know if that is true. I am in So. California and my Master Kush is in bloom here is my light info from weatherunderground.com

Length of Visible Light13h 53m
Length of Day

Thanks mate big help! And one failed the shadow test so has been moved! How do you get that length of day info? Thanks again man!

if you go to www.weatherunderground.com and in the search box upper right of screen enter your city, country zip code and it will bring up all your weather and if you scroll down a bit you will see the length of day light info that I cut and pasted here.

I'm lurking around somewhere in Devon&Cornwall Haah. Mines still not flowering. But still got preflowers popping up.. Place I use for daylight hours is.. www.timeanddate.com/sun/uk/london?month=8 and just change your location to where you are..
Where abouts are you?
