Miami-based Burger King buys Tim Hortons for about $11B
Burger King says it's struck a deal to buy Tim Hortons Inc. for about $11 billion. The move creates the world's third-largest fast-food company and could accelerate the international expansion of the Canadian coffee and doughnut chain. The corporate headquarters of the new company will be in Canada. The two brands will continue to be run as stand-alone chains, with Burger King still operating out of Miami.
Together the company will have 18 thousand restaurants in 100 countries and make an estimated $23 billion in annual revenue. http://www.local10.com/news/miamibased-burger-king-buys-tim-hortons-for-about-11b/27736850
Hasn't the federal government learned from California, that you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
