5th Official Party Cup Grow Competition

Hey y'all. First post.
Violator Kush Fem-Barney's
Soaked for 30ish hours, placed in the cube this morning, but lights don't come on till night for me, I didn't understand if we were supposed to do from sprout or when we placed in a medium.

Under an intelligent grow 135w 90ish actual AND:hump::hump: my brand new Onyx Bloom! :hug::hump: I allso have side lighting around 130w cfl, led, cob.

I only did one bean because the girls I included a pic of are my first grow, except for 2 autos I harvested less than a month ago and I need to order more from Herbie's haha.:blsmoke:

I think that's it, I am debating between Hempy and soil for this, so I just left the rapid rooter in there.

I will be using OC+ and Maxibloom and RO water.

I think I covered everything, I will post again when it sprouts, but idk if sprout is my time for weekly update or if this post was? Whatever.

Jesus fucking christ, last attempt to find 16 oz party cups today, this crap cant be found where I live... crazy, or I have to oder a zillion online.
In the hypothesis I wouldnt find it today, am I allowed to use McDonalds drink cups, thats the only ones left I can think about. I know they are 16 oz for sure, but its not really "plastic". Is it within the rules?
 
i'll watch to see who win and to join the next, because i don't see anything that scares me, you guys better step it up and bring that A game...when i join the next on....lol. good luck guys.

You need to buy 50 or 100 at a time...thats how they're packaged. They're cheap as chips though...don't you have a walmart or grocery store near you?

Unfortunately Im located in Europe and here those cups come by 200, 250 and 500 ml mostly. The 16 oz (450ml) version is a nightmare to find, already did 5 or 6 groceries near my home and nada. 5 days til the end of the week lol. Oh well... maybe next year then if I keep on having that much chance...
 
@vladimiroslav if you have no other option use the McD's paper cup,maybe just put a plastic baggie in it so the cup doesn't deteriorate over time.Next time your at the grocery look where they sell the glass cups/dishes that's where I found some of my plastic character cups.Over here most gas stations/convenience stores have those Styrofoam coffee cups instead of paper cups....just trying to help.Good luck!
 
20140825_164043.jpg Maybe the next competition could use 500ml cups. I guess Im out as I also can't find 16oz cups . I've looked in different stores from euro to home depot style in Germany Austria and Italy. 16oz is approximately 474mls so it is an amazing 26 ml bigger. .that will grow trees :)

Two of the girls broke ground today.

If all y'all can find are the 18oz/532ml, I say just cut the top inch/25mm off the cup,..problem solved.I guess you'd have to get it ok'd by tkowitha123 first.Its a little late now but if there is a next time i'd be willing to help out if someone cannot find the 16oz'ers.
 
Whoops just actually read the rules and I thought you could transplant. I stand corrected. Sorry. Still, you got a little time left, plus 2 days if you start them in a napkin.
 
I thought there was some conversation about transplanting but I just don't pay attention like a used to :eyesmoke:. The rules seem to say no but in our banana republic/ iron-fisted dictatorship here things like rules can get a bit slippery :).
 
It's complicated;).....you can not go from a 8oz cup to a 16 oz cup....BUT if you need to transplant/recup from a 16oz to another 16oz that's ok.Yes,tko and i did recup last comp.I forgot his issue but my soil mix was a little too hot.
