Hey Dave. Didn't no bout the rhizotonic stuff specifically (can't get it in my country).
How do you know superthrive is 100% organic? It has absolutely no source for what ingredients are in it, not on it, not on the website, not in the customer services department, they simply refuse to let anyone no what's actually in it, so not sure how you KNOW it's 100% organic. But I'm just saying it's a rip off for what little it does... And I don't see how it can be used incorrectly, unless someone tried pouring the whole bottle straight on hahaha. People should also be aware that a study was done (i think in the 90's) that found that the B vitamin group (which a lot of fertilizer companies advertise that THEIR fertilizers have in them!) are actually useless as an added vitamin, sure the plant needs it, but the plant can't actually do anything with it (as an external substance) using it's roots, stems or leaves, the plant can only utilize what it creates itself within itself.
Anyway, in my little side by side grow experiments over the years it, and many other 'must have' additives have never improved my final product to a point that it's actually worth spending that extra money on the additive.
If you show me a side by side grow, with all the variables taken care of as well as is possible, and you use ST on one, Rhizotonic on one, combination of the two on another and have a control plant, and show me that there's a huge difference, then I will specifically import Rhizo from America or somewhere and start using my ST again. Until I see that evidence, I'll stick with what I've personally experienced as my guide.
Maybe my growroom isn't the right environment for these products to work to their full potential?
Cheers guys and girls!
P.S - Looked up that Rhizotonic stuff and all it appears to be a form of seaweed extract/fish emulsion with kelp in it - So haze, we both agree that that stuff would be beneficial, but there are many brands of these very similar products available, shopping around is always a good idea.
