French fries
Gravy
Cheese

= AMAZING

I had met a woman from Minneapolis, and she had NEVER heard of this delightful Canadian classic.

YES - it will make you fat.

YES - it is adding unnecessary calories and everything to french fries - which are already bad enough for you.

But - it's FUCKING DELICIOUS. FACT.

I am eating duck poutine, with in-house made gravy, and local Thunder-Oak Cheese Curds...

It's amazing. That's it. If you have not already done so - TRY IT AT ONCE!!!

Im glad its canadian. Us Americans dont need more fattening food lol. I started watching calorie intake recently, and it is ridiculous the amount of shit we eat. I would bet over half of americans eat more than the daily allowance of calories in one meal, every meal, every day.

The sad part is that it is incredibly easy to eat healthy. Eat more whole foods and not processed food. And just eat to not be hungry. And dont gorge yourself every meal.

I quit eating like that and I feel fantastic every day. Not to mention, I can wear all my old pants again lol

And something cool that I learned that I didnt know before, 3500 calories equals about a pound. Wanna cut a pound a week? Lower you caloric intake by 500 a day. 2 pounds a week? Cut 1000 a day. It is so simple, yet I didnt learn this anywhere in school. Thats sad. And it definitely works

Oh I just lost about 30 lbs in 3 months from being sick.

I know not everyone has my "problem", but I am actually TRYING to eat high calorie food. Currently, nearly half my daily intake of food is from those "Ensure/ Boost" things.

But yeah - it's NOT for everyone.

Even when I diet - I do so in moderation. I don't think it's good to DENY everything. I will always have room for poutine. It may only be once a year - but that will be a GREAT DAY!

Wow! It makes you fat!? I'm gonna have to try it. :) I could easily do with gaining a few pounds.

Looks like our Patatas bravas over here but with chips.

Oh - the calorie math.

I had an eating disorder that pretty much controlled my life for about 10 years. Age 16 - 26. I know far more than I will ever want to know about counting calories.

Hell ya. Nothing wrong with eating bad sometimes. Just dont do it habitually. Thats the problem with most people.
And I wish I had your problem haha

Honestly - exercise is what helps me every fucking time I gained weight in the past.

I'd get depressed, eat my feelings, not get out of bed - GAIN weight - hate shit.

Now - when I get the NRG back and all that - ass kicking excer-time. LOVE that shit:

- Zumba
- Anti-gravity fitness/ yoga
- dancing like a maniac
- yogging
- yoga
- walking
- what the fuck ever gets your heart rate up and makes you SWEATY (come on @Da Mann - I KNOW you're gonna say something about this one - dare ya!)

I actually pace, constantly. I knew I did it - but didn't really realize just how much. I bought a step counter, and it turns out I do an average of 10,000 steps a day - IN THE HOUSE! hahahaha

So yeah - When I'm not in bed - I don't have a hard time keeping the weight off.

My energy level is usually set to "vibrate".

You looking for a motivation excer-buddy?

I'd be down - I want to GET HEALTHY!!!
