Why Michael Brown beating the fuck out of the cop is relevant.

It's undisputed that MB and the cop. engaged, disengaged and then reengaged.

The cop was on the short end of this first engagement.

Then the young man taunted the cop.

Here the stories diverge.

Is it really so hard to believe a cop that has been accustomed to being the authority was so enraged and humiliated that he lashed out with his weapon of last resort?

Besides, being stuck so hard in the head probably had his thinking clouded
It is not hard to believe that a bad cop might have flipped out and killed an innocent guy.

However, taking into account that Michael Brown just robbed a store and that the cop had a 6 year record that had no issues I am going to lean toward the police officer rather than the criminal.

The reason that people are not defending the cop is because the mob will go after them. A woman showed up defending the cop in St. Louis the other night and had to be escorted away by the police because the crowd started throwing things at her. It is not like this nice safe message board where you can say anything and not worry. If your name goes up in that neighborhood people know where you live and work. And if you dont think that mob is intimidating then you are crazy.

There are supposedly a dozen witnesses that corroborate what we think the cops story is. We are not going to hear the whole thing unless this goes to trial. Those defense witnesses are scared to death right now and are not going to go on the news to dispute what the mob is currently saying about the cop.

As I said in the first post I created. If the cop shot an unarmed man (I said running away at the time but obviously that turned out not to be true) who was surrendering then he is a murderer. If most of the eye witness testimony turns out in that direction then I am open to see the cop prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

I ask however that other people do the same and not illogically be planning the penalty phase of the issue before the evidence has even been presented.

i like how apache junction pool boy puts more faith in the police (known liars even when justified in their actions) and a dozen anonymous phantom eyewitnesses from glenn beck's website than the 4 eyewitnesses who have all stepped forward into the sunshine and told the exact same story.

I have advocated for waiting for all the facts to come out and shown a logical reason why they all would not be ready now and you wake up out of your stupor to be an idiot. Thanks for the consistency!!

P.S. My house is bigger AND the median house price is higher than where you live ghetto boy!! A swamp cooler for an upgrade... Yeeehaw!!

the cop will walk because it will be beyond reasonable doubt that he was in fear for his life.

i know this won't go over well, but what kind of witnesses? his buddies, and bitter (even though maybe justified) black folks, aren't going to carry much weight, in the eyes of the predominately white jury...
how do you know the jury will be predominately white?

no you haven't, you have been clinging to the cops' nutsacks and putting all your faith in these unnamed phantom eyewitnesses. you have put absolutely no faith in any of the actual eyewitness testimony to come out.

I almost wish they don't even prosecute the cop so all hell can break lose and St. Louis descends in to the worse riot and civil outrage this country has ever seen. Perhaps we will get lucky and it goes nation wide.

I only want to see this so we can shut Alex Jones up about his fema camps and all that.
maybe if you hurry there, you can bring home a slave girl or two..

Wilson, she said, “tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.

“And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and then Darren grabs for his gun

There is this repo guy who films his repos and posts it on youtube. I watched one where all he did was walk into the driveway, get in the vehicle, start it, and drive off(the bank had a key and gave it to him). He recorded everything. Its a good thing he did because the cops wanted to talk to him later. They wanted to question him about smashing into the other car the people had, and about hitting one of the other guys in the street with his tow truck.

Point of this is that there are always multiple sides to every story. All he did was repossess a car that they werent paying for. They were obviously trying to get this guy in prison, because they cant make a car payment.

It is possible these "witnesses" have deeper motives in mind. The only witness who should be permissible in court is a video camera. People lie day in and day out to suit their own purposes.

Were these witnesses his buddies? Or were they just random people?
One was with him when they both robbed that store. The others probably just want their 15 minutes of fame. My cousin shot a repo man in the ass. They tried him twice, but couldn't get a conviction. Apparently, juries don't like repo men.

Yes, it is hard to believe, for me. But I realize that it's a possibility.

I tend to believe the word of a decorated cop with a perfect service record over the word of "witnesses" who have already been proven to be innacurate.

why do you put witnesses in quotes? what is so dubious about the fact that several people witnessed what happened and all tell the same exact story about what they saw?
