when i put them in flower i changed to bloom about 4 weeks early so they reacted badly as they should have been stretching they were starve of N then after i got mg Deficiency because id stopped putting magnecal in the watering schedule, just beginner fuck ups really. they never really recovered. i understand why this guy planted every seed he had !

Wow! Not to be rude but wtf are you talking about? Taking a cutting from a cutting is fine and many people do it and keep strains going for years. Also your first post re "why plant so many"? Probably to pick the best pheno out of a few that he will get from seeds would be a start.

I completely understand you asked for options. That's why I left the most important sentence for last. I decreased the size and scope to the minimal needed to keep all 9 and carry on. Beyond that choices get painful when you don't know what's at the other end of the plants life. One thing I'd mention is it's not always the tallest plant or the biggest bud that you'll find to be the best. Keeping cuttings only requires a small t5 unit or something similar and they can be had for around 100 bucks with bulbs. Just plug it in and go. Good luck on your grow. And may "the force" be with you making those choices. The best and worst part is the same. 1 what you don't know can't hurt you. 2 because you don't know your mind might not make it that easy. I usually take 2 grows to make my final choice. I'll pick the top few and cull the other cuttings. Then on grow two I'll make my choice based on notes pics and of course stored and labeled samples.
Not at all. Veg is Veg. But the mother plant will be able to handle more powerful light. Cuttings are delicate. They need light but to much at that stage causes damage or death.
