What to do with spare plants? Cull?

Hi all.

This is my first grow. I planted 6 critical kush and 3 CBD kush. My initial plan was to put 3 CK and 1 CBD into flower (approx 1m * 1m). I just planted all the spares because i reckoned that id fuck up in some way, and for medicinal reasons it was important that we get a full harvest asap. However, girls are in soil a few weeks now, and looking tasty (apart from one deformed looking runt). Some are obviously a bit bigger and stronger looking than others.

I was also planning on taking clones, and getting a perpetual grow on the go with the best ones.

Any advice on what I should do concerning other plants?
i.e, keep them in the veg with the clones when the strongest are in flower? Cull them smaller ones at end of veg? Cull them now to make better use of veg light? Put them all in flower? Any suggestions are welcome.

keep them in veg cuz ur gonna have them in 18/6 light and the others in 12/12. two separate rooms, or tents are needed ya know. different light colors, 6500k an 2700k

So when I put the four best plants in to flower, and take clones, I then have the remaining 5 plants (which are fully vegged), and the four clones under the veg light?

If space is an issue then u do wot u need to do if your room is 1m+1m then ur gonna need every bit of space uv got imo y u planted NINE seeds when all the area u have is as mentioned.I honestly don't no wot u were thinking did u buy the seeds ???????

First time growing, and it all seemed pretty daunting. Thought one or two might not pop, then if a few failed....and like I said, its imperative that we get a harvest, for medicinal reasons.

Why not take clones of the 5 extra and toss the left over plant. Veg them while the other 4 flower. Save samples of those 4 and top them to keep them low or tie them down. This way you have samples to compare to when the 2nd round of flower is finished. At this point you should have cuttings of all plants as well as samples of each. Then choose your favorites.

Using your seed plant as a mum is desired by many people. But sometimes you need to pick your poison. This should decrease space and lighting needs. That's most growers limiting factors.

you need two rooms as already mentioned, keep the strongest plant as a mother plant, grow the rest out and remove ones you dont need. Its possible to grow 9 plants in a 1.2m2 room so just go for it !!!!!!

I am just a bout to build a little cupboard for my bonsai mother plant which will be separate to my two grow rooms, both are 1.2m2 and will have MIN 6 plants in.

Goldberg ur thinking is sound but let's not forget this is a first time grower as I am and still anouther room would b needed for it method..

Yea done and dusted the 2 small ones I chopped filled it up got about a week left for the monsters to finish so I'll use the room to dry them...

thats my plan, use the room to dry, im cutting mine tomoz, they havent done well coz i fucked em up but we live and learn
