This also warms my heart. Unfortunately - I was looking for this cbc article and never expected to find my own interview. Things have only gotten worse. I confirmed on the phone yesterday that they used forecasting figures based on the uncompleted expansion when acquiring clients. They are incredibly dishonest. They claimed their contingency plan was to purchase from other places like the k farms offer but those rules were always going to change April 1st under Health Canada to my understanding. They knew the expansion was not yet under construction and continued to take on clients far beyond their means of production. They are using very dishonest tactics trying to corner market share and cannot meet demand. I go without medicine for weeks at a time. They have deleted negative comments from instagram and unfairly silenced criticism. I used no inappropriate language so there was no reason my comments should have been removed. Not to mention they completely deleted facebook (despite having the link remain on their official website) and have not used twitter for months.
Mark Gobuty attributed the shortage to a 5 day blackout but I have had trouble with insufficient stock since march. One of the call centre agents even admitted sometimes they sell out instantly. Do two releases a day if that and they are impossible to purchase. Ordering from peace naturals is like playing the worlds worst lottery. They gamble with your medicine and I have lost income and missed work because they fail to provide medicine.

I would like to leave but cannot afford it because of the situation they've put me in by failing to provide medicine. I also want some justice... The only option is to get an additional LP - most of which are still all out of my price range as they are more expensive than Peace Naturals. Health Canada's failure to approve the LP's in any sort of reasonable manner means the prohibition prices (if not higher) are maintained because there is an artificially small marketplace. In addition it is not just a free process to get to my doctor who is 2 hours from where I live. I can't afford the gas or the time to go out of my way to get an additional provider to receive medicine. They refuse to compensate for the shipping charges incurred from placing multiple orders from their lack of stock and similarly will not provide compensation for additional costs incurred acquiring another licensed provider to receive the service they cannot provide.

That is such an injustice Greg. The mmpr patients should talk to the coalition about another lawsuit for damages and loses due to HC fledgling system. No patient should have to suffer unnessisary pain and suffering do to greed. I myself am praying something happens before February but till then good luck.

well you doc already filled out the form for you, so would they not do it if you faxed ....... an LP form.... no travel.... wouldn't be a new script sort of just changing where ya get it from. or wait till ya have to see the doc again, but it seems insulting to stay with them (hence the call to leave) so find away to change ... hope ya get a good one... few and far between but.... or if they are open to new registrations
To me the aggravation of staying is now on you as your experiencing it but now choose to stay. not saying it's easy thing to do, because I know it isn't.
then once or even if you find another LP worth getting consistent supply, then try for your compensation ..... hope that also works out for ya. Wont help your head if your all aggravated and non-medicated

I've been in contact with John Conroy regarding us MMPR patients being treated poorly. I have submitted an impact statement and it might be used as an affidavit. I strongly encourage anyone who's is being treated poorly or being taken advantage of due to the MMPR to do the same. The more people that speak up, the better our chances are of achieving change.

I contacted Conroy as well but haven't heard anything back yet. I agree I should have switched providers but they kept promising improvements and misleading newsletters made things sound as if they would improve. If it was not an additional cost to change providers and pay more for medicine - I would absolutely have done it by now. Unfortunately all the headaches from Peace Naturals has left me unable to afford the meds and switching to another legal source means paying more which is not really much of an option. There are other easier avenues to obtain medicine but I want an affordable legal solution that is dependable and not incredibly dishonest. I should not have to seek out another supplier and go through the hassles of the application process again. Peace naturals took over 20 business days to approve my application back in February and I can't wait that long again. I have heard good things about Tilray but I cannot afford 10$ a gram. I just want something done about the situation with Peace Naturals so that others do not have to go through the same hardship. They advertise the facebook group on their official website but on an instagram post back in April a client asked when it would return - they lied and said soon. It has not been and will not be active because they cannot afford to engage in social media because of the negative backlash. Mark Gobuty does not understand how supply and demand works if he thinks selling out instantly everyday is meeting demand.

I hear ya on the only legal route to go, apparently delta-9 does compassionate pricing .... I would look around for one of those. Hope you don't have to give any more money to those leeches, it's really the only way they will stay in business is if everyone still buys/forced to buy.

Peace Naturals has compassionate pricing but only those on disability qualify. I did not get enough hours for my EI claim to qualify so I cannot get compassionate pricing. I guess having virtually no income does not factor into the situation when considering compassionate pricing.
