When do you switch to flowering nutes?

I was told last year in Cali to wait until a week in so they will use them all up. In my case I feel like this would make sense because I'm cutting the lights off on Tuesday and it will probably take a few days for them to react.

The flip side is I've been told to start a week before so the nutes are readily available when they fully switch.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Veg neuts will be used up when the soil goes dry then right away for the switch I use plain water then I feed next watering with bloom neuts and xtra N (bat guano 10-1-1) 1 table spoon to 1 gal water
adding about 1 cup of that to 1 gal of water that contains the bloom neuts and
feed it with that. Then plain water then bloom neut feed with xtra N etc....

This keeps my plants healthy green till harvest.

Personally I always use some veg nutes to keep everything happy and green while in flower if you stop with veg nutes shit goes down hill.... thats my experience.

Yes I have tried extra N but I always ran low had a def fix it had a def again etc so I contunially fed low dose of veg jutes and higher bloom up until roughly 2 or 3 weeks left and let them finish. I no longer run chems I am organic now so its so much nicer no problems etc.

I keep steady supplies of NPK and other nutes throughout the whole process. The amount and strength of the feed depends on plants, but usually I lower the N intake and raise the P and K intake about a month into flower, feeding every fortnight or so.
