That berry ryder is a perfect example of how a plant is supposed to look. Nice and green. That's how I keep mine. Too many people abuse bloom nutes thinking nutes make buds but they don't. The plant makes the buds all we need to do is keep it healthy so it can, and you sir are doing that.

South Louisiana
The state is shaped like a boot. It's a slang word down here.
Ha, hadn't heard that one, a little far for a long distance relationship, will have to find a hot Canadian, pot-growing momma closer to home :( You're sort of between my brother in central Florida and my sister in southern Mississippi. Stopped in New Orleans the last time I did a road trip to visit both of them, damn you guys know how to party, most expensive night of my trip, but well worth it ;)

Yea that costs too much gas for ass.

We do party down here. It's in our French culture, it's required. We have a tradition here call a
fais do do, it's like a party where kids participate. It's an all say affair. When it starts to get late evening and the adults want to really cut loose they let the children start drinking so they get drunk enough to pass smooth out. Nobody leaves till the next morning, everybody sleeps there. Do do means sleep in Cajun. I grew up like this as I'm 100% French/creole. I don't participate anymore, my wife don't like it, she's a pediatrician and she can't stand to see drunk kids.

I got dueces on the sister if it don't work out Gro! haha
Why not share?

Never heard the boot, but we got the same thing over here - they call MI the "mitten".
Now that's gangsta!

My girl picked this up 4 my birthday:

Don't know much about LED's but I'm sure it'll be ight for veg, seedlings / clone when I start a photo grow. Probably throw it in the other tent when it gets here
Nice GF Erin, sweet. I wouldn't recommend any of these for flowering but I use Chinese LED's for seeds/clones/veg and they work great, nice score and happy B-Day!

Not only did she get you something MJ related, but she spent a nice amount of money for it. That really says a lot about your girl. Even though she is against it she is respecting your passion. It's that type of compromise, respect, and understanding that makes a quality relationship. Make sure that you are always willing to do something like that for her too. Sounds like you have a great girl, hold on to her.

It's been a helluva a battle this whole weed thing...always has. She actually is why my last grow ended 6 years ago...ripped em out n stomped on em all. :( Getting better though, n we're starting to both mature n be able to compromise w/ each other. Def hanging on 2 this 1 ;)

You guys think I should run that LED as supplemental lighting for the rest of this grow? Little added help below the canopy...?

And where do you get replacements if a diode burns out o_O ? I really gotta read up on leds

Extra lighting never hurt, down below (side-lighting) is probably your best bet if you're not getting much light to the popcorn.

Ha, don't think you'd be wanting to try and replace a single diode, warranty I guess but good luck trying to get warranty/support from China. When I bought my panels I had no expectations of getting support/warranty, they claim 3 years with mine but it probably takes some time/effort to fight them, and shipping costs. I've heard Top LED (my LG panels are from them) won't provide support or warranty if you've said anything bad about them so I guess I'm SOL since I trashed them (for flowering) in my thread ;) That said, I have 6 panels (+ gave one to my son for vegging), some for over a year, not a single problem yet.

I have never used led's.

If you really wanna play with more light maybe light say something like 1/3 of the tent with it, put the shorter plants under it. Have the 600 doing the other 2/3. If I were you, no that's not right, if you were me I would at least try to squeeze it in somewhere.

Here's something, take the one shooting nanners, and RezDog and Pine Time and put those 3 under it in a different space. The seedlings don't have pistils so no worries till they do.

Side lighting never came to my mind with the new led. That's probably your best option untill you use it for seedling/clone/veg later. Good work GroErr.
Rotate and revolve your plants so everyone gets some.

Herman is in the compost bin now lol but that would of been awesome to keep it. Prob potential 1.5 oz n the trash now :/

Yeah I'll try that out - hang it vertically n rotate them everyday. Can't hurt. I'm assuming the led can get damn close without burning any leaves

Yeah, won't hurt, may get you some larger popcorn or additional frost. Cool thing with LED's is that they're directional, so you can mount the panel on an angle and point it basically where you see fit and makes the most sense. Like Polo said, just rotate the plants, I typically will rotate my plants regardless of light source about once/week to get even coverage on all sides/ends.

Edit: No worries but not too close, some of these panels can bleach the buds if they're too close. Any closer than about 8"-10" is not going to gain you anything and possibly cause bleaching, if you get too close with these the spectrum/light doesn't mix (the diodes are mixed spectrum/colour throughout the panel) so it's actually detrimental to have them too close imo.
