I never heard of drying seeds. Mine have always been dry right off the buds. It has been a few years since I have done any breeding. Are you letting your plants go long enough.when you make seeds. You let 8 week strains go 80-90 days for good mature seeds. Only pull seeds on the inside of the buds for viable seeds. Exposed seeds usually don't sprout or do well.

I have bred many a plants, and in my experience if you have good genetics it does not matter one bit which part of the bud the seed comes from. It does however matter where on the PLANT it came from (top, middle, or bottom).... Some of the best seeds I ever bred came from the very top of the main cola. I would say as long as they are mottled/tiger stripped, a darker color, and pass the crunch test (crunch test is just personal preference, most seeds will still sprout even if they most likely would be crushed in this test) they should sprout and grow just fine...
Its ignorance in breeders that perpetuate ideas like that (the best seeds come from inside the bud)... if the seeds from the inside of the plant were "the best genetic code" how would a species grow and prosper through natural selection? IMO all seeds in a single flower (*the same age*) have an equal genetic code, although they are all individuals they come from the same parents. (* typically because of the way flowers develop on cannabis, the seeds that are visible first are usually the oldest/first ready for collection and the "strongest/biggest" as they have the most/first access to the hormones that help seeds develop)

Had a incident in my cab. Temps reached well done while I was off at work and killed mi small girls. Set my light power too high..driver got hot..still working the kinks out of my new cab

I haven't even started my first beans, though officially, I would consider that you killed your entry if you have already made your first post....


So if I had germed beans on 8/1, and didn't like the way they looked by 8/28, could I start a new round, too? Er...I accidentially killed them.....
 
Im really just making shit up too, tko makes the rules, but yeah, I think youre right, start 5 and kill em all and youre fucked...makes it a lot less confusing that way....
