Outdoor Flowering Clones Question(HELP)

I was forced to take a large number of clones of various outdoor plants during the 2nd-4th week of flowering. Most had very small buds forming. Some of them still only had preflowers. I am worried after reading some other threads that they will not be successful in producing smokeable bud, because they will not have time to re-veg since they are outside. After they take root will they each continue to grow new bud sites and form into a small Cola? Will they stop growing flowers completely? I know this is an odd question but please give me any input you have.

It's harder to take clones on outdoor plants that are already flowering. What I did last year in the same circumstance was forced the flowering girl back into 18/6 with 4 long stakes and a heavy duty tarp. It worked for me! BTW, if you take clones off if any flowering girl, the chances of success are slime, since you are totally stressing everyone out now...including the mother. Let us know how it works out. Peace

You need to force them back into the vegetative state by using artificial light ..Unfortunately at this time of year the days will not be long enough for them to reveg on their own they will just keep doing what the rest are doing !!

What do you mean? Will they make more bud or stop growing? I do not expect more than 5 grams per clone so any new growth is good for me

If you take a cutting from a flowering plant it will continue to bud that's grow the fruit.. it will not grow taller or grow more node's. . It will just continue to bud so what you have when you cut the clones is what you get..won't get more then a gram of two from each at this point without forcing it to grow again (back into veg)...their will not be any new growth from your cuttings it will finish budding but Imo u will get less from the clone then you would have if you just left the branch on the tree.. unless you force it to reveg!! Reveg means to go from (flowering )that's making the fruit/marijuana to (veg )veg is when the leaves and the branches grow!!

heres the deal....horses completely ruined my crop, ate everything besides one plant and a few leafy stumps. my neighbor gave me 7 super haze clones because i guess he feels bad for me lol. i will take the 2 grams and be happy at this point, i supose this year was a failure.

So why were you planting around horses to begin with?
Only option unless I grow on someone else's property.

Okay thanks. I was having a hard time believing they would stop making bud; after all they are plants.

Yeah just left the biblebelt for greener pastures. Tennessee to be exact. Chickenwire can be painted though. Or like someone pointed oout to me a while back. Toss it in a fire and it scorches it so it's not so glossy. Works very well.

the weather there's iffy. You can let em easily go til october 1st. Afte that you just gotta play it day by day really. Depending on your altitude anyways. If you're in southen Tn then you can run em a bit longer. Like close to the GA border.

But if lets say you're up in high mountains you have to watch it. Take Crossville for instance. It've seen it snowing there but take a 20 minute drive down the mountain and it's 10 - 15 degrees warmer and no frost.

I am very close to the GA border, I am assuming frost will be around Oct 15th give or take, so I will most likely not be able to finish these clones..
