It all seems pretty straight forward to me.. Maybe the schools want to set a tough precedent, but IMO, if the statistics are as high as they say they are (which I don't think they actually are, concerning legitimate rape accusations and dismissing false ones) then I guess each school should have their own way of handling it and their turnout and graduation rates in the proceeding years will reflect as much.

That's no different than anything I said.

I repeatedly said more than its my responsibility not to rape.

Your post acts like it's a legit excuse we must overcome, but it does mitigate the rapists bad deed some what.

I say it's not even an excuse, they are just some sickos out there and it's just dangerous for her to do it.

Two, myself included.

I....we got caught having sex in the youth room of the church we went to.

There were approximately 10 witnesses, although I don't think they all visually observed it. They did see that there was no signs of anything against her will being done.

By that evening the story was I had raped her. I suppose her parents came up with it to avoid embarrassment, her father was a deacon of the church.

I was interviewed by the police. Luckily there were also the 10 people who were in the group that opened the door to to youth room. She also interacted with several people, including a pastor or two prior to being picked up by her parents.

It was a cluster fuck, caused a big rift in the church.

I made a lot of people, including her father, very uncomfortable by my presence on Sundays.

I loved volunteering for the church when I was a teenager.

Yup. A couple, actually.

Barracks whores.

Both chicks had a falling out with one dude or another. Both chicks made their accusations weeks after the supposed event took place. Both chicks were proven to be willing participants during the event they cited as "rape". Kind of hard to prove rape when there's pics of you posing with the lads with a bottle jammed up your ass.

I imagine the same things go down in college dorms as well.

And how often does it turn out the woman was just after money or some other agenda?

Better than half the rapes you hear of are bogus.

The real rape is the ones you don't hear of.

I feel great sympathy for a rape victim, almost as much as I do for the victim of a false rape allegation.
