Thanks for the reply do u think my net is too high at 24 in off the groundAt least wait until your screen are 50% full.
I would set it at a foot from the top of the plant. That's my personal setting because I have skinny hands and can manuver with that height, but I think 2ft is fine. A scrog master will chime in if I fed u you the wrong info. Thanks for the reply do u think my net is too high at 24 in off the ground
Ya I really wasn't sure about 9 or 12 I figured more plants less veg time an I could always remove a couple do u think I should? I just added two blueberry and a blackberry rite before I took that pic so it wouldn't be a huge deal I jus really want those strains lolyou have a lot of plants there. when your screen is around 70% or so filled, flip. there's a great scrog sticky how to, at grass city written by green monster. best tutorial, i've ever read on scrogs.
ya, ya, i want 48" pop corn machines under my light, lol...When plants are over 12 inches when you go to 12/12 you will rarely see a plant more than double in height during flowering. I wait until mine are 18-22 inches before they go to flower as I know plants up to 48 inches when finishing will fit comfortably under my flower light. Figure out how close your plants can safely grow towards the light and cut that number in half. That should be the optimal size of the plants going from veg to 12/12. BigSteve.
Sounds good, as I turn my plants over to flower, if there bushy and a good size I give them what I call a hair cut, I trim/cut all the top leaves in half this slows top growth and speeds up lower growthPinching only the first week of 12/12 it's considered a weed and will grow like one

I have a pretty powerful inline fan and I can actually get my plants within 6in of my 1000hps so with that in mind wut would the proper height hight be for a 1000 watt light to cover a 5x5 space efficiently??
Sorry to jump in mate
but you can't keep a 1000w hps 12" above the plant 6" will burn the leaves lift the light now!
