Need electrical help please!

I have a Hisense 70 pint 2 speed humidifier model number DH-70k1SLE

I need to know how to wire it straight to the plug in so that it turns on when you plug it in. Right now cant run it on a timer because when you plug it in you still have to push the power button before it will turn on. Any suggestions? Thanks

yea in order to get what you want you'll have to pull the board out and fuck with some stuff.

Can anyone tell me how to bypass the power button? Is it as simple as pulling the board out and splicing a wire? Its already apart as its in use as a chiller but none of the wiring was messed with

you could just take the wires off the power ON switch and wire them together.

I'm pretty sure it's an IC allowing an auto-restart ability(i'm positive it is needed to be able to store user settings),on digitally controlled appliances. I'm curious as hell if anyone has a DIY fix for
that

And if any of you need a dyi chiller that dehumidifier is a beast took about 10 gallons of water from 75 to low 50's with ice forming in less than an hour. Setup with a 185gph pump in the 10 gallons pumping the cold water through a 25ft stainless steel chilling wort in 25 gallons. It will hold 25 gallon rez in low 60's for about 5 to 6 hours after running 1 hour.

That is indeed sweet! Looks like you learned a lesson the hard way though! Always make sure it has auto-restart, before buying, if you need to power it on and off, while automatically resuming functions. Sorry man

Do you think splicing/connecting the wires that are connected to the power button will give it power when its plugged in?

the on button is just a switch, it allows power to go across when pushed, you are just by passing that feature, it should work. Like a light switch, by pass the switch and the light is always on.

I dont think there is a dehumidifier out there that powers on instantly when you plug it in. They all have buttons or switches to turn on. Its like a regular fan or anything you plug it in you still have to press a button to power it up

I dont think there is a dehumidifier out there that powers on instantly when you plug it in. They all have buttons or switches to turn on. Its like a regular fan or anything you plug it in you still have to press a button to power it up

Everyone That I own has an AUTO-RESTART ability ;-)
You have to make sure it has it before buying. Trust me
If it's an older device, with manual control knobs, it usually is not an issue. At least it wasn't with the older appliances with knobs, I used to use back in the day ;-)
