This is from the Toronto leg of the Tim Burton exhibition, in 2010 I believe?

He designed a different "monster" for each place they visited. In Toronto, from Fall to Spring - this little guy would eat another holiday item depending on the date.

I was there at Christmas, therefore tree. I heard next he was going to eat cupid, and then after that - a LEPRECHAUN.

Tim Burton: just so NEAT!

No but I will!! ;)
From Tim Burton's book of poems called "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories".
The Girl with Many Eyes

One day in the park,
I had quite a surprise.
I met a girl,
who had many eyes.

She was really quite pretty
(and also quite shocking)
and I noticed she had a mouth,
so we ended up talking.

We talked about flowers,
and her poetry classes,
and the problems she'd have
if she ever wore glasses.

It's great to know a girl
who has so many eyes,
but you get really wet
when she breaks down and cries.

That was AMAZING!!! Thanks for sharing Yessi! I've always loved poetry. I never knew Burton did any, just the animated movies. What a gifted guy.!!!

I've been jarring up buds this morning. Always a nice way to start the day! Trying out some cheese candy from Delicious seeds. Its not quite cured yet but its pretty smooth and tasty already.

Mmmm jarring up buds.. Sounds like a glorious job to do :D

I LOVE YOU!!! :)
Really - you make me feel good about life, and myself.

So many people out there, for some GAWD AWFUL reason - just HATE happy people. They think we are phoney, or faking, or something.

It has to be because they are so unhappy, they can't imagine seeing the world through a different light.

Well - I LOVE my rose coloured glasses...and I'm keeping them on!!!

Thanks for being you Rosebud! I hope you don't mind that I have started calling you Rosebud a lot....hahahaha

That door swings both ways girlie!! You make me feel good too, you're a super sweet person and always cheerful!! You are right about that, it is a mentality thing. They get locked into believing nothing can ever get better or change and no amount of logic and good will can help them.

I really enjoy mine too!! I take them off at times to see a bit more clearly but I realized this the other day. Whether your wearing them or not, things still aren't all that bad. There is always someone worse off than me or you or anyone we know. Everybody goes through something, I'm grateful for just knowing that.

You call me Rosebud all you want hunni! Its funny because I milked a cow named Rosebud as part of a field trip when I was 5 years old. A very fond memory..she squirt me in the face! LMAO!!
