I actually did stumble upon someone's grow and they were there. They were nice because they were chopping it down and almost done. I told them how good it smelled and they gave me a big long bud. They left, I figured out my way home, dried the bud and smoked it. Excellent stuff. Nice kids, they were maybe 20. :-)
Good directions...

Do y'all contract with a dispensary prior to growing these trees, or is it more of a "roll the dice" approach?

While it's nice to "grow trees" vicariously through your posts, there is absolutely no way I could possible use all the cannabis from even ONE of the big ol' gals y'all grow, let alone the lot of em'. Y'all have a lot of cash invested in your grows, and a lot of hard work, so aside from the feds, is there a significant financial risk to those kinds of grows?

Regardless, I sure do enjoy seeing natural outdoor cannabis grows, and especially those done with such care and attention to detail. Your plants ALWAYS look awesome!

Positive waves.

@doublejj you seem to be a crazy old coot. I think that's why i like ya. don't know why i brought it up now, but i did.
@S'Manta cool story bro. I had something similar happen when i was 16. A friend and I were out a the woods on the edge of town and accidentally threw our baseball through some dudes grow room window, I thought he was going to shoot us! After some fast talking he instead he made us work in his grow room until we paid it off. By then we were good friends and he kept me on for a few more crops. That's how i got into growing. Sometimes not running away is the best thing to ever happen to ya.
Like I used to ask my Boss.... "Would a sane man do this job?".....

We just rolled the dice this year :) and for the most part the feds wont mess with you with only 50 plants they want the growers that are doing 99 and up normally

It's farming bro....no chickens before they hatch. There's a huge overhead for this kind of grow, everyone involved is working on commission with a years labor at stake. The rent is STEEP for these type of grows and usually ca$h up front......you may start the season $50,000-$75,000 in the hole....
