Man, prices are so high in the States.
There are dispensaries selling @ 4 bucks a gram around here. Not for their lower end either.

Looks like some Canadians are paying nearly $8 a gram for trim from Mettrum.

Oh yeah, these MMPR companies - none of them are doing anything worth a shit and they all charge too much. The dispensaries in Vancouver have much better prices for much better quality. Granted not everything is amazing or anything, but the prices are much more reasonable in general.
Some dispensaries cost a bit more but still half what you guys are paying in the States. 4-6 a gram is pretty common. .

There's a large legal battle over the issue. Many people have not stopped and will not stop until they are forced to. I'm sure many won't stop regardless. They seem to be trying to hand the market over to a few large players and screw the little guy. Typical government intervention at the behest of large business interests.

I know a few that were legit legal and didn't stop. these are folks that only grow for themselves and do not share or sell (unless you know them - only a very limited group, so I really doubt that they will ever stop. typically 4-6 plant perpetual chopping one/two plants every week(ish).

hopefully we can get some changes with Trudeau (full legalization) but I have a bad feeling that it is simply empty banter for political posturing.... I am hoping tho!

I completely agree. it really is our only hope, unless the courts decide that the current legislation, including the recent changes as of April 1 (I know that they are currently on hold), are inadequate and require an overhaul...
I know the latter is like winning 649 but my fingers are crossed for any changes that are an improvement. I just want to grow for myself without fear of persecution. I am not hurting anyone, not dealing and I am a contributing member to my community while holding down a solid career. shit, I don't even drink, so......
