To those who have used MadFarmer's MOAB

I recently got a couple of sample packs of MOAB from my hydro store. how did you all use it? is it worth it to go out and actually buy it?

When switching into flowering I usually do my res change on the very same day I switch over to HPS 12/12. Do I add MOAB to my res at that time when using it in week one? or should I wait a week after switching over and use it at the second res change? All it says is to use it during the FIRST WEEK of flowering and the LAST 2 Weeks. I just want to be sure before I do anything that could burn my plants especially since it warns that its very strong. I plan on using it on the res the same day I switch over while cutting my base nutes in half. Does this seem right?

It's just monopotassium phosphate.

You can get small bags of generic MKP for way cheaper..

I hit one of my girl's with some of it last summer and it caused a nitrogen deficiency a few days after using it leaves started to turn yellow I should have just used Sensi Bloom with out the PK booster

You're looking at about 1tsp per 5gal. How much did you add? I sell MPK at my store for $35 for 500G. Its funny how many people switched to it once they get the same results when using Monster Bloom or Big Bud or Massive. So I sell it for what I pay for the other bloom additives from the wholesalers. I make the same money while the customer get a cheaper price.

Amazon has mpk for $12/lb delivered. I've used Moab. my small grow doesn't need much, so I'm still using the samples. It works great for hydro. I just put it in the same week I start 12/12. Finish up the last two rez changes before the flushes. I flush twice in the same week, because DWC can handle washing away nutes, as long as you have enough air pumped into the water, and it is not too warm.
I put some in RO water, ph'd it and sprayed it on my outdoor girls when I first saw flowers. I dunno if it helps, it doesn't hurt. There was no burn that I could see. I water with diluted worm tea. I don't know what moab would do to the roots so I went foliar.
