Hubby got himself a NEW TOY
Its a locator/navigator thing...GARMIN
Its really cool too. Hubby is NOT good at the navigating thing. He doesn't seem to grasp the concept on N,S,E,W so I think this is ideal.
You just type in location and it tells you the easiest way to get there. You can also type in ;
gas station,
restaurant,
hotel/motel
camping - provincial parks etc
just about anything you can think of...its awesome.
Now thats one less thing to worry about.

my son and I tried that last summer and we ended up in oklahoma and the other people weren't doing so well...so we quit and started the storm chaser thing...we saw some cool tornados...the gps comes in handy chasing a storm...
it was a hoot..we got within 1000 yards of a tornado...we pissed off the professional storm chasers that charge people money to ride along...dude had the nerve to tell us we could not follow them...

i travel by the sun. on a clear day i can find anywhere just by using the sun to guide me. if i know what direction my destination is in that's all i need. i can find it.
on a cloudy day i'm lost.
i don't know the name of the street 2 blocks over and i've lived here 15 years. i just go there.

I'm lost most of the time also but i'm quite good with figuring out direction. I also go by the sun. Very rarely have I gotten lost but one time years ago I went out for a 7 hour trek and started out on a trail but the trail ended
and I got lost. 
The sun went in behond the clouds so I didn't even know which generally direction to take.
I'm not normally into shopping but got everything at costco. Calvin klein, lady hathoway..... I love the idea of getting good designer brands at great prices.
