Well it's only the very bottom set of leaves that's yellowing on the ends - single blade ones...Might not be a big deal but idk. Plants were still droopy (almost lifeless) and the pots were extremely light - took a closer look and all the medium in the smart pots was bone dry
Instead of watering from the top I tried dipping the pots in water this time n let em soak it up from the bottom. Hoping this promotes a stronger network of roots and it gave me a better idea of what they feel like dry versus when they have water in em...took pics right before the soak and I'll take a couple here in several hours to see if they perk back up. I'm gonna say they were deprived of water due to me only watering the solo cups last time and not the smart pots. They're drinking a lot faster than before. Gonna have to watch a little closer from now on.
Since I was way overwatering in the beginning this was the first time I've actually seen them underwatered. Probably not great for em but at least I know what to look for now.
