its better that way , 5 year minimum jail time for even holding a gun in your hands , puts 99% of the people off going anywhere near a gun , nevermind actually using one , the few that are stupid enough are the kind of people who will quickly end up locked away for something crazy anyway .no guns, no gangstars , and NO FALSE PROTHET'S ?? why
WHY IS THAT , DID YOU NOT SMOKE IT WHEN IT WAS ILLEGAL ?You forgot no legal weed. We win, you lose.
They don't put your name on a list when you buy from a rec dispensary, and even with hyper-taxation you can still find better deals than what you would get on the street in the UK. Legal weed doesn't fuck things up it just gives you the option to run down to the dispensary and choose from a menu. Which is a pretty nice option if you ask me. Even if you are a med patient on a government list, they're not going to do anything to you. People who are scared of those lists are just paranoid.I think no legal weed is a win. Not taxed, no name on a list... i'd say decriminalisation would be ok, but legal would just fuck things.
your weed laws have there down sides,,,your limited to grow x amount of weed or you'll get jailtime,,, we have no limit and just get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again,,even if it is illgal,,,uk rules again you lose lolYou forgot no legal weed. We win, you lose.
I think he means we dont have gangbangers hanging around on street corners with their trousers round their ankles shotting ppl in the face randomlyWell we have plenty of guns just not legal it's not hard to find and seriously no gangsters of course there is what do u mean by that
uk wins usa losses,, thanks and goodnight,, end of thread,,I think he means we dont have gangbangers hanging around on street corners with their trousers round their ankles shotting ppl in the face randomly
No limits huh, one quick google search puts that lie to rest. I've been busted twice, got a slap on the wrist both times. Once you're able to drive down to the dispensary and choose from 20 strains off a menu then you can consider it a tie, until then you lose. Here's a little link to help keep you safe from all those pesky pork choppers looking for heat signatures and condensation on your windows (don't got those in the US, again you lose)your weed laws have there down sides,,,your limited to grow x amount of weed or you'll get jailtime,,, we have no limit and just get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again,,even if it is illgal,,,uk rules again you lose lol
A large number of crimes committed in the US w/ guns are committed using illegally obtained(stolen) firearms, So I always wonder whether gun banning laws here in the states would really solved the problem.its better that way , 5 year minimum jail time for even holding a gun in your hands , puts 99% of the people off going anywhere near a gun , nevermind actually using one , the few that are stupid enough are the kind of people who will quickly end up locked away for something crazy anyway .

Do you find that there is just as much violence in the UK, just committed with other weapons? Or do you think gun control works? Do police have guns there? (I thought not) How do they serve and protect?

......
.yeah they are stolen or illegal obtained but from who, the people who buy them duh , if they banned them ,no one could buy them then no one could steel them or obtain them illegally,, the gun problem in America is called a gun problem for a reason , its a problem
hmm well of course there is violence in uk , but its not as often deadly violence , of course there are guns about but you would have to be a pretty serious criminal to have a gun in the uk , infact you would be insane to carry ANY type of weapon on the streets here , even a pen knife , the police have stop and search policy here where they can basically stop and search ANYONE for any made up reason they want , and like i said you get 5 years prison for carrying any weapon here .A large number of crimes committed in the US w/ guns are committed using illegally obtained(stolen) firearms, So I always wonder whether gun banning laws here in the states would really solved the problem.

Sounds like they have striped away a lot of civil rights in UK? Do you not have the right to defend yourself?hmm well of course there is violence in uk , but its not as often deadly violence , of course there are guns about but you would have to be a pretty serious criminal to have a gun in the uk , infact you would be insane to carry ANY type of weapon on the streets here , even a pen knife , the police have stop and search policy here where they can basically stop and search ANYONE for any made up reason they want , and like i said you get 5 years prison for carrying any weapon here .
its very rare you hear of people being shot and killed in the uk , the only time you here of guns being used is usually in armed robbery and id say most of those guns are probally fakes .
i personally think gun controll works here , i dont think ive ever been of fear of getting shot , much more likely someone pulling a knife on you .
the police do have guns but not as a standard issue thing they have emergency gun cops who only are called in certain situations , i think all cops carry tazers and cs spray
