if your roots are brown they are starting to rot.
yea i been carefully diggin around the soil to make it dry. im using some cheap potting soil i bought at ace hardware call ace potting soil. also what other signs beside droopy leaves does rotting root have?on a seedling it might be tough. transplanting could hurt the roots. i've used diluted h202<-- (would not advise for a seedling) to interrupt the process. the problem with overwatering/root rot is that once started, the process feeds itself and it just gets worse.
you're gonna have to weigh the risks of shocking the plant with treatment ie transplanting or h202 against the severity of the situation. i usually just wait for em to dry out.
if it's in a plastic cup, u can try and make holes all around it to expose more soil to air, then transplant when it's a bit healthier.
what kind of soil mix are you using?
lol what a coincidence i just read your thread and we have the same problem with droopy leaves. guess the ace soil hold moistures, stop watering your plant then the leaves rise up.i used Ace potting soil and mine started to die. I transplanted into better soil, but I'm still waiting for them to recover. I believe its the soil from ACE, very contaminated.
